I sure did. I'm a core gamer all the way, but that doesn't mean I don't have friends and family. People often gather at my place, and not all of them are gamers. All of them, however, enjoy getting up on their feet and doing something silly and mildly competitive. The atmosphere of good-natured fun the thing generates is excellent whether you're entertaining family or your drinking buddies.
Sure, Kinect isn't ever going to play "real" or "core" games, and I sure as fuck want to keep it that way, too. I want to play my FPS, RPGs, Survival Horrors and Action-Adventures with my ass planted firmly on my seat with a controller - preferably one I don't have to wave around - in hand.
But I don't want to play fun, brief minigames like that. That isn't fun. But getting up and playing short, uncomplicated games with motion controls and a group of pals is great fun.
So yeah, give me those minigame compilations, those dancing games and rail shooters, as long as they're functional. We'll have fun with them, but best of all, we won't be making wannabe-superior posts on forums about motion control being a gimmick and/or the death of "real games". We'll just be having a blast.
