News from the Final Fantasy group is that Dissidia Duodecim (Dissida 2) is coming.

Two characters have been confirmed.
Kain Highwind from FFIV and Lightning from FFXIII

Who else do we wanna see people, let's all speculate!
I personally want Locke to make an appearance.

Aeris, Tifa, Yuffie, Yuna, Rikku, Selphie, Rinoa, Penelo...are we seeing a pattern here? I honestly believe that, next to Cloud and Squall, the female characters are the most well known in the franchise. So why weren't they in the game? One female character? Come on...

I've wondered that myself. They didn't even bother adding characters other than the main ones(which all so happened to be guys with the exception of the bad guys' roster). Auron would've been badass in it.

I want characters from Final Fantasy XII. I don't really care who, but I at least want two of them! Balthier and Fran may be a good duo to have.

And like others have said, more of the girls. I'd want to see Rinoa, Yuna, and Penelo mainly. The girls can kick just as much butt as the guys do!

...Gabranth was in the first game, and he's all 12 ever needed to represent it. He was a beast too, like...properly spec'd out and you'd really fuck shit up.

Setzer for the side of Cosmos and Seymour Guado for Chaos. Both are underrated and use powerful techniques the original didn't have. Maybe have one new character for every Final Fantasy starting with 4, plus Lightning and Barthandelus from XIII. Huge lineup!

Oh, that's right. I forgot all about Gabranth. x_x Well, I feel like an idiot. Then, in any case, more from FFXII. FFXII only had one character, while most of the others had two.

Definitely Auron, Tifa'd be really good, maybe Vincent too. And Balthier should really be in there too. He is the leading man.

I'd vote for Vincent simply because he's one of the few FF characters that use a firearm, and that would help keep him unique when compared to all the other characters
