Some guy went delving deep deep into it; Poise does do SOMETHING, but it does not do what it did in Dark Souls 1 and is thus pretty much useless.

It gives you extra roll invulnerability frames, so yeah, it's useless, there's always better things to focus on.

I had to overclock the old Fx-4200 but other then the expected frame drops here and there I have no complaints.
