I recently took up the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King, I can honestly say I'm hooked and I'm only on the second book!
How many books are there in the series?
there's a total of seven...all amazing, though it does get a bit slow at times

Well that's a pretty damn condescending way of putting it. Graphic novels and comics like Watchmen, Hellboy, and Mushishi can have every bit as much literary depth as a books, films, or other media forms.

But fine, I'll play your game. I'm a college student, so I actually don't have a lot of time to do extracurricular reading right now. I'd like to, but I'm busy as hell. The last book I put a big dent (for fun as opposed to for class) was Alchemical Psychology: Old Recipes for Living in a New World by Thom F. Cavali. And the last literary book I read was Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman.
Oh dear... Sorry. I did phrase that badly. I am a fan of graphic novels myself you know. I will edit my post.

Um, was that a shot at graphic novels? Because many have better themes and plots then regular fiction. Warren Ellis' Transmetropolitan combines a commentary on government, religion, the social order, futurism, transhumanism, and humanity in general with gonzo journalism in order to create an epic odyssey. It's better written and far deeper then say, Harry Potter in general.

EDIT: Read your other post, nevermind.
I'm going through Harry Turtledove's WorldWar series right now, as well as Ian Bank's Culture novels, I'm really impressed with both.

Probably The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
I can shamefacedly say that I have never read that book. I meant to acquire a copy, but my dad won't let me.. He's SURE he has it somewhere ¬_¬...

Yeah, sorry about the Graphic novel thing, I have corrected my post. I don't have anything against Graphic novels, and I do indulge in them from time to time. Also I like Harry Potter because of how well the books all fit together.

Right now I'm in the middle of reading Mogworld. Tis a good read.
Favorite series?
I'd say the young bond books.
I do like the young bond books, I've read a couple of them. Do you know how many there are? I am also glad to hear Mogworld is good.

I am reading Firestarter by Stephen King.

Normally I'm a good fan of him, but I'm having trouble getting into it.

Just read all of Puckoon today. Pretty good, although about 3/4 of the way through, I had no idea of what the fuck was going on.
I was also reading a lot of Jeff Lindsay recently.

Last book I read was Night Shift by um....Saintcrow (I borrowed the book, and returned it since)
I'm doing work on my own Novel at the moment, and I try not to read TOO much of other people's work.

Not quite yet. Soon I will have it to a point that I will release a snippet on the Escapist.
It is a Fantasy Novel, I suppose High Fantasy might be a more refined niche for it.

The most recent book I've read is 1215: The Year of the Magna Carta. Great book if you're casually interested in history.

I am currently reading "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!" Simply an awesome book.
