I am currently reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo, and I think it is a great read.

In september I read "The gates" By john connolly, "Crucified" by michael Slade and "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Murakami. Earlier on the year I heard The Eye of the world on audio book, and I'm currently reading A Game of Thrones. So, yeah, I've been reading a lot, and I'm probably not gonna stop, considering I also have The deadhouse gates (sequel to Gardens of the moon) in my possession.

I don't really read much anymore. Last book I read was Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... 3 times. I have however read pretty much any Star Wars novel I could get my hands on at the age of 12-14, and of course Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

And I plan to pick up Jacques Mesrine's [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques_Mesrine] memoirs soon, as that guy had an interesting life to say the least.

I wish I could have one.
My dad has one, they're really cool. All the stuff on them is super cheap, too.

Last book I read was Night Shift by um....Saintcrow (I borrowed the book, and returned it since)
I'm doing work on my own Novel at the moment, and I try not to read TOO much of other people's work.
What's your novel about? If you can tell me? ;)
Not quite yet. Soon I will have it to a point that I will release a snippet on the Escapist.
It is a Fantasy Novel, I suppose High Fantasy might be a more refined niche for it.
I look forward to it! Let me know

I recently took up the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King, I can honestly say I'm hooked and I'm only on the second book!
Dark Tower rules! I'm on the fourth book currently.

I also just finished the last of the Hunger Games trilogy.

Just reading Mogworld now, and I've recently finished Nineteen Eighty Four. After Mogworld I'ma get started on either the LOTR Trilogy or The Old Republic. It looks pretty sick.
I've never read 1984, is it good? People have told me that it's good, but depressing.

I read a lot of books. Contrary to popular belief, it is books that sustain me, not video games.

Currently I am reading World War Z. So damn realistic, I still stop every once in a while to remind myself its fiction.

Last book I read was The Knife of Never Letting Go. So amazing. The diction can be annoying, but it helps describe the main characters so well. And I almost cried from the book. I rarely ever cry from media, so this was sad. I should have seen it coming, it happens all the time. But it almost got me.
Now I am waiting for the sequel.

Um, practically that. It is good, but depressing. I found the book to be awesome, but I'm too optimistic have to let the book depress me for too long.

I just finished reading a novel called "Snow" by Carolyn Olsen. It was really good. I loved the story and all, but the grammar wasn't very good. The author's Norwegian, though, so I can cut her slack. It was still pretty impressive for someone whose first language wasn't English.

Nope, not reading anything right now. Before I started Snow, I was reading Fight Club by Chuck Palahnuik but I sort of lost interest. I wasn't very far into it and I hear it's good, so I'll probably pick it up again soon.

I plan on maybe going and grabbing Mogworld tonight, though. According to the site, it says my nearest Barnes and Nobles has a copy in-store, so I'll probably go and get it.

Also I like Harry Potter because of how well the books all fit together.
Book 5 and 6 ruined the series for me. It just seemed like too much filler to get to the seventh book. Nothing really happened plotwise and that spoiled it for me. You could argue that some important plot elements were there but if the 5th and 6th books didn't exist it would make no difference to the plot
I'll concede to you the importance of dumbledore'd death. However the focus put on the main character's aquiring love interests seems inconsistant with the imminent threat of Voldemort.

OT:Just finished Temple of Winds by Terry Goodkind and have moved onto the next in the series Soul of the Fire. Got the first of the Wheel of Time series and plan on reading it after i finished the above series. My favourite book is Summer of the Ubume by Natsuhiko Kyogoku

I'm reading The Rise of Endymion by Dan Simmons now, and before that I read Endymion by the same author.

My favorite book series is the Revelation Space series by Alastair Reynolds. Amazingly epic science fiction. That guy is great at describing mindboggling alien principles and technology. It's very hard sci-fi too, so not too much technobabble nonsense. No FTL travel either.

I guess I read about 2 books a month. I need to travel a lot and nothing better than reading a book in the train.
