Most recently, I finished The Girl Who Played With Fire. I need to buy the other two..didn't know it was a trilogy. I also want to finish the Dark Tower series. I wish I had more time.

I started actively reading things a lot about a year or so ago and usually like to read at least a book a week.
Since the 16 of August in 2009 (I remember the date because it was the day I went on vacation), I've read 341 books.
I'm currently reading Parallel Worlds by Michio Kaku and loving it!

I read quite a bit. Not as much as I used to but I try to read a book a week. It's a little difficult to find time to read, what with school and everything, but I manage.
I finished the Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick last week, and read the Metamorphosis by Frank Kafka just yesterday, as well as a few of his short stories. I'm reading Temple by Matthew Riley now. Except I've kind of put that down for the Age of Reason by Sartre. I'll probably give up and go back to something light and easy for a while, like a 40k book, because everything I've been reading lately requires so much brainpower and effort.

Really? I much preferred the 1st over 2nd, and it is just above the 3rd. There was more humour and freshness in the 1st one... I reckon they suffered from Sequel Decay. Why do you prefer 'em?Count Igor said:

... I'm joking. I don't read, unless it's for school. For school, the book that I am grudgingly skimming the pages of is "The Book of Negroes", or, as it's called in the United States, "Somebody Knows My Name". I would find it interesting, but, as I said before, I don't read, and I think that books are boring.

Not sure, but I like the fact that Natty-Boy has a lot more power now, and that there's more interesting and serious stuff going on, rather than the old 'Power crazy man with power' line.GiglameshSoulEater said:

Right now I'm reading Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb, and Ship of Magic, by the same author. I have a Sony reading board myself, so I am not too familiar with Kindle's version. Then again, I do like being able to put PDF files on my reading board, as well as most other formats, and I heard you do not have that ability with Kindle? I am not sure if this is true, though.
Well, as a counter to the whole 'Book app' idea, this is mainly because of the kindle's screen. You don't get sore eyes form reading it, and it's power consumption is far less than that of a smart phone or similar. As for the feel, then that's really up to you I guess.cheshitescat said:

I don't have a Kindle, and I'm not all that interested. I really enjoy physical copies of books and graphic novels, especially ones by my favourite authors. Eventually, I'm sure, I'll slowly make the transition to digital copies, buying physical copies of only my favourite novels.
