I say physical copy because, PC and Console gamers alike both used to be sold in physical copies before digital distribution. Also so that emulator and digital version of old games wouldn't count. I want to know what is the Oldest ( even if you didn't own it when the game came out but you do now ) game in your library.

(Bonus points if someone still owns a game on floppy disks ).

I didn't get a PC until i was about 10 ( i am 23 now ) , so my oldest game is the original Lengend of zelda for the NES. And i still play it at least once every 2 years just because i find it great.

Your turn .

Battlezone for PC, such a wonderful game mixing RTS and FPS elements together. Best game Activision ever developed.

Lure of the Temptress and Star Legions both came out at the same year. 1992. Those are the oldest games I can think of that I own physical copies of. Both are on floppy disks.

I used to own (It was left at my grandfathers house...and he eventually got rid of everything.) Where in the World is Carmen Sandiago, the 1985 one. On big 5 1/4" floppy disks.

It's not easy to remember, especially since I lost my SNES games, but the oldest game I have a physical copy of is mario kart 64.

Rayman for the Playstation I think. I was about 6 when I got that, so in fact it was for Christmas '95. Still works too.

Doom. Shareware. On two 3.5" floppy disks. It's almost as old as I am, and it's still in the flimsy cardboard box it came in. Not sure if it works anymore, but I have it.

Easy, I still got hold of my old SNES cartridges (I think) or at least some of my old Gameboy cartridges like Lucky Luke and Pokemon Red.

I have a bunch of old Vectrex games sitting in my garage that date from 1982-83. Unfortunately the console itself is busted, so I can't play them anymore.

I'm thinking of getting a replacement unit so I can relive the good old days. It's been too long since I played a round of Minestorm.

Does Game & Watch count? If so, I've still got my dual screen Zelda (model ZL-65).

Many NES games. I think there might be an old PONG machine somewhere around here. (Am at my parents for Christmas.) At my Condo, I've got a bunch of SNES games. But I may also have the NES console. Not sure.

I don't have any of my SNES games anymore - my half-brother in another country got them when I was a stupid teenager.

So... Diablo
oddly enough, I never actually played Diablo. It may not actually count, as it's sort of a rerelease version from the late 2000's, after I played D2 quite a bit.

If that doesn't count, Jedi Knight. Played that 2 months ago last time :D

I still have a bundle of Saturn games sitting in my cupboard, though I'm not sure which one would be the oldest. Maybe NiGHTS into Dreams, from 1996. That's the only game I really need for that console anyway. Well, maybe that and Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Duh, forgot about the PC! In that case, probably the original Theme Park, huge cardboard box and all.

Back at my folks house, there may still be some old ZX Spectrum cassettes lying around. Slippery Sid, Hungry Horace and the like.
