And it had to be a woman, "The Chubby Prince" would not boost their sales as much as this particular brand of immaturity, this is the clincher. We all know it could have been a Gold Chest or an ever growing magical soufflé, it was a princess because fat girls are funny, saving them is just so ridiculous, and we all know the greater global belief in that will mean that this game will sell more.

I really think this is overstating. "Fat Bastard" would have sold just as well.

If the game were titled Huge Fro, in which the kidnapped was an African prince and the longer it took you to get him back the larger his curly black-man fro got making it harder and harder to rescue him, there would be no question about how racist the game was.

The problem with your afro example is that having an afro is undoubtedly tied to African American culture. Being fat is not naturally tied to women or men. If your analogy was arguing against something like "Fat American", then yes, your analogy would work. However, since being fat doesn't naturally associate itself with women, your point is completely...well...pointless.

I should also point out that your afro example isn't inherently racist, just a poor choice.

One very important question which would more or less resolve this whole issue and could only be answered by women, fat people and fat women...'do you find this offensive?'. Of course this is a complicasted thing to do since (I haven't read every page and don't intend to) I am certain there are people of the aforementioned groups who did or didn't meaning that odds are on that no united conclusion can be reached. I am neither obese or a woman in which case myself (and many people who have written on this forum and in the world in general) don't have any real right to comment or take offense.
