Well all i said was "Nice" art style.
It appealed to me, and it honestly didn't look like any other style iv seen before, so it was new to me.

I think the graphics style reminds me of Super Mario RPG.

Yea, i see it.
Though i was really referring to the Character/Creature/Summon Designs.

But the Battle Animation really does remind me of Super Mario RPG.

I eagerly anticipate everyone playing this game, thinking it's not very good, then coming to the sad realization that the Golden Sun games actually sucked and we only think they're good because of nostalgia. In truth, they were subpar RPGs that only seemed entertaining because, for many of us, they were our first experience with RPG games.

I found this out 2 months ago when I tried replaying the Golden Sun games, so now you all can share my pain!

You do realize that it's a GBA game, and cramming all that sound, graphics, sprites, etc. is already an achievement itself and we know that GS can't match the graphics of other JPRGs because it's on a handheld platform not a console.

I wish I could be excited, but it goes like this:

I've beaten the first game like 5 times. Why? I'll play it through to the end, so I remember the story. I'll beat the game, but before I start the second one, I'm already sick of it all, especially the last fight in the first game. So I wait a while, forget about it, forget what happened in the first one, and repeat process.

Nah the Golden Sun games are still pretty good as far as portable RPGs go.

I really wish that was true. I really do.

But they're not. They're painfully mediocre.

It's pretty much regarded as the one of the best rpg series around...Mr. Dwarf Fortress is a good game. Talk about nostalgia-inducing lunacy...

No it's not. That's what you're supposed to do when you make a game. You're saying I should he impressed that they made a complete product. If the sound, art, graphics, etc. were all far better than any other GBA game I might see your point, but they weren't. I don't even think these aspects of the game are bad, it's just that there's nothing particularly notable about them. Though the same could be said for the entire game.
