charity shops,

seriously, look at the prices at some of these, most of the time they don't know the actual price of things.

No one mentioned Linux yet? Come on, it is an entire desktop OS for free as long as you make it to be. You don't need to install paid software there unless you need it, as there are alternatives. Good ones too. Also, since most software is open source, most people can collaborate and help you fix any issues you might have. It's such a happy bubbly place there in the Linux community. :-D

When it come to getting lunch I love getting a chicken/ Steak bake from Greggs (bake foods) since they're only £1.15.
This for me, I've literally just got one on the way back from uni, a really filling lunch for a good price.

Can I say steam games?
Why not? I got Beyond Good & Evil for $10, then two days later it went on sale for $5, and both of those are well under what the game is actually worth based on its quality. And they had the entire Gothic franchise plus expansions on sale for $12, which is equivalent to something like five or six games at least, depending on the size of each expansion.

paracetamol for around 16p. It cures you and costs hardly anything.
Steam sales, but that's obvious.
Bags of chocolate when they are 1 pound. Glorious!

£3 for Alpha Protocol.

9 playthroughs and I didn't get bored. No DLC worth anything either. A complete package in the box.

It's only about $2 a bottle, but put some on a good steak and it doesn't just taste nice, it makes said steak taste orgasmically good. Plus it's delicious on all sorts of other foods and it isn't so spicy it leaves you guzzling a gallon of milk down after only a few bites.
hot sauce on steak? I never thought of doing that :p though I have to try it, especially if it's orgasmically good ^-^

OT: Steam games :3 barring that, Milk is cheap? at least... I feel it is, fresh milk is literally the tastiest thing I've ever had in my life <.< I love it so much I can't imagine it not being worth the money :p

There's a pizza joint near me that sells giant calzones and rolls for $6.50.
Fresh baked, big enough to be a full meal.

Ramen is the first thing that comes to mind.

I'd also say most taquitos.
Around here I can get a 50 pack for about 25USD.

My current laptop.

Bought it almost two years ago for $650.

Today I installed Bioshock Infinite and bench-marked it playing at an average of 82.27 FPS on highest settings.

Fucking amazing. In terms of optimization and stability it somehow beats out a lot of my friends' laptops which were bought less than 6 months ago for more than double the price, so even though their laptops are more powerful according to their specs, mine still plays games better.

Ramen. For at most a $1 you get a filling, tasty meal.
What kind of gourmet ramen are you buying?

Packs around here go for, like, $0.50 at the most. Normally ~0.20
Gourmet ramen it may not be, but it's pretty damn fine quality. Straight from Korea, try it. [http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTy6oQIjgigD5OCgW9VoNe-bHPVHY36wQPmf3UClHuuvwfZklQzmw] This is NZD, however that may change things.

Out of curiosity, what laptop is that? I'm in the market for a new one, and that sounds like an awesome laptop.

EDIT: Should probably add to the conversation. I'm going to say GOG games. All those classic games for a fraction of what they used to be sold for. And with an excellent system of tying the sales to the account. Also, Miracle of Sound songs. A dollar (minimum) per song for music that quality is an absolute steal.
