It does look good but I don't have a Xbox one and don't game enough nought to justify getting one. Still I can dream.

One thing I noticed about a advert for it though, it was one of those cool lime action ones they do and it had a news report on the death of Master Chief. In previous cannon Spartans were never reported as dead, always MIA, when did that change?

It didn't actually change, however the Master Chief is now the second SPARTAN to go AWOL (the first being a SPARTAN in the books they thought actually died), so they need to cover it up while Locke hunts him down and either captures or kills him.

SPARTANs are still listed as MIA, unless they can't deny it (IE: It was a very public death). Even SPARTAN-IVs like Locke, Buck, Palmer etc. if they were to die.
