So,how do you get the attention of a person of the opposite sex that you are interested in ?

I'm bored and you guys ( and girls ) are interesting , so this question is out of curiousity.

The question is in the title, how do you get the attention of a girl or guy that you are interested in ? Do you have a technique ? Do you just wing it and hope for the best ? Do you got game ?

As i posted in another thread of mine i am very akward around women , so i have absolutely no game.Back when i was single i would never EVER even attempt to walk up to a woman and talk to them because of the nonsense that could ( and often did ) come out of my mouth. Luckily i got a girlfriend now but she came to me,( god knows why but i am so grateful ). Anyways enough about me i want to know about you, and what works for you guys/girls.

How do you attract / get the attention of a person that you are interested in .

P.S: I know that i said opposite sex in my title , but homosexuals and more than welcome to share their stories

Go to a popular club or bar dressed as a giant zucchini. Then, after you order a drink, you scream at the top of your lungs and throw white briefs into the air like confetti. That would certainly get my attention!

... Anyway. I do something nice/friendly, become their friend. The person reveals they are interested in me too. Then I say something stupid in response to something they said that annoyed me and get in a hate war which I usually win (though it feels like lose.) Then we make up and start over from having as if we just met.

I'm quite good at talking to strangers when it's just one or two, so I just walk up to them and say hello, and then go from there. I never really had much of a strategy in mind, but it worked for me. I met and started dating a wonderful girl by doing just that.

I just talk to them basically. Strike up some conversation. Eventually I'm able to tell if they're interested or not.

...Well OT: I play guitar. I do whatever I feel I want to do and if I meet someone then sure. but I don't try and pretend I'm someone I'm not. If you can't love me for who I am then you can't love me.

I like how you imply you are a great person that deserve to be loved.

Usually, I say hi. Sometimes they say hi back.
It's worked a few times so far.

Been awhile since I've put this into action though, so maybe I could figure it out by next time.

Well first I strike up a conversation, say hi and often times they say hi back. Find something to talk about, say, music and our hobbies. If we have anything in common then she's a keeper.

Then I trail her back to her place, sneak into her bedroom raid her bathroom and steal a lock of her hair from her brush, undetected and in a loincloth of course. Then wait till she falls a sleep and write a love message on her bedroom walls in my blood. You know the usual romantic stuff like "become my queen of the cucumberworldworld" " I watch you as you sleep", "there is no place you can run and hide, I will find you", and "switch to geico".

Then to ensure I have no competition I viciously kidnap and deprogram anyone who even looks at her funny. Usually they end up clucking like chickens when I'm done. I know, I'm an old softy like that.

Usually by this time she threatens me with a restraining order and more often than not a shotgun so I try to placate her with a gift of a chloroform soaked dress before being taken away by the nice people in jackets but hey, they are vulnerable like the others and straight jackets aren't known to hold me long..

Anyway, I may have wandered off a bit. What exactly was the question again?
(Wait till someone suggests I get taken away for real)

In all seriousness, the only girl who actually likes me is the one that I argue with literally every day, so I'm not the best person to ask about this. That said, ever walked into any class wearing a tuxedo and pretending as if it was completely normal? It gets their attention, believe me.

That's an amazing quote. Marilyn is definitely not the dumb pin-up I thought she was.

OT: I think the best way is to make friends with her first, but still make your move quickly. If you wait too long, she might A) get in a relationship before you make your move or B) find it really creepy that you befriended her for so long while secretly wanting to plow her. I mean, how would you react if your long time friend revealed they were in love with you from the beginning?

BTW, both A and B happened to me. That's how I perfected my theory. And it worked!
