So how is the PS Vita anyway?

This console had a very quiet release, at least as far as console releases generally go, and I have not heard much about it as a result.

Any of you people own a vita. How is the software, hardware and game lineup? Is it worth getting, or is it entirely forgettable?

I have a vita and I have been enjoying it very much. The hardware fits nicely in the hands and is a vast improvement over the psp. It's my preferred handheld

working in retail, I was lucky enough to see it before it launched. It's a very nice device with good software, good button layout. I think the back touch screen is a bit inconvenient while holding the device, but they fit all the bells and whistles into it. It had a strong launch lineup, but only a few major releases since. It looks sweet but I haven't bought one. I think Sony's pticetag is a little optimistic.

Bought it quite a while ago, only really played Mortal Kombat until recently. Just finished playing Persona 4: Golden... and dude, PS Vita so worth buying just for that game.
