Nice to see people flying the nerd flag high :)

Anyone LARP? We did it once, which was pretty fun but I never really got into it.

I like anime, although I need a new one to watch. I tried watching Vampire Knight, but all the drama made me nauseous.
I like Sci Fi, mostly Doctor Who right now. I used to like Star Trek a lot, but that kinda of died off a bit esp since reins were handed to Abrams. ¬___¬
I also like video games (obviously), but my interest in that is waning since there are not many being made that actually interest me any more.

When it comes to anime, it's a bit weird.
On one hand, I know people who watch tons more anime than I do, so I tend not to call myself an anime guy.
But then I realize that most people either don't watch at all or watch only one show, and I watch a lot more than that.

Half-anime guy? :)

Video gaming and... and...

Just kidding. I read and write some pony fanfiction from time to time and I watch a lot of movies. Pretty light stuff you could say. I don't obsess over anything (at least not anymore) like a stereotypical nerd would.

Not much to be honest. Compared to non-nerds I'm headings into nerd territory, but compared to nerds I'm heading into non-nerd territory. And the latter is probably more accurate.
I feel like this accurately describes me as well. I like video games and I'm a bit of a Star Wars fan. But beyond that, I don't have many nerdy hobbies. I don't watch anime or game of thrones or any tv show besides the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. I don't read nerdy books or comics. I'm not a fan of board games, card games, DnD, LARPing, or cosplaying. And in university I'm studying history, a distinctly non-nerd field, at least compared to engineering, math, physics, etc.

I'm into a few:
Video games, obviously
Linguistics, I love digging through languages to see just where a word comes from, what it really means
Sci Fi and Fantasy in movies, books, games and formerly TV
Gun modification(yeah, it's nerdy too), I buy and make mods just to try them out and see if they add to or take away from the original gun
Cartography, I've always loved poring over and drawing maps, kinda goes along with the languages thing too. This is why I love Etrian Odyssey
Drawing for amusement. Don't know if its nerdy, but I get treated as if it is for doing it

I like a lot of nerdy stuff: Science fiction, fantasy, video games, computers, technology, tabletop rpgs, cars, and so on. I enjoy a lot of the geeky and nerdy things out there.

Off the top of my head:

Sci-fi books
Fantasy books
40k lore and games
World History

I also have an interest in board games and RPG. Currently trying to fill that gap.

I don't think I'm really into much traditional nerd stuff. I'm a nerd because when I get into things I reeeally get into them. I thought that was what being a nerd was. Like if you're a sports nerd or a music nerd. I think my level of nerdiness also depends on the people I'm hanging out with.
I'd LARP if I had some people to do that with and it would be fun. I'd love to go out into the city and get crazy drunk with a bunch of mates that are all dressed as Lord of the Rings characters and just get wasted while only speaking as the character we're dressed as. Why the hell not? It would be an awesome story.
I suppose it's something I would be into rather than something I'm into. I think I'm just in to goofing around and enthusiastically committing to fun things.

Also I am way into reviews of everything. I love watching and reading reviews from a bunch of different journalists to get their perspective on things. I find it fascinating to hear peoples' reasons for why they think something sucks or why something is awesome based on their own internal logic. I'm binging moviebob and yahtzee reviews right now. I disagree with a lot of things they say but it gets me to look at things in a different light and sometimes gives me the motivation to give games or films a second look...
