So how much would a copy of Prince of Persia go for in today's market (i.e. did I get ripped off?)

Okay.

So I have this cousin, see, and last summer he was selling a bunch of his stuff because he was broke. I happened to have a job then, and one of the things he was selling was an unused copy of Prince of Persia. You know, the Xbox one. So I was like, "Everybody tells me this is a great game. I should get this game because if I ever get an Xbox I will have it to play." So I bought it from him for twenty bucks.

Flash forward to about three months later, and I'm so broke I'm probably gonna have to wear unwashed clothes for the next few weeks. At the rate things are now I probably won't get an Xbox for about four years or so, if I still feel like getting one. So I figure I'll just sell it to anybody in particular to make a quick buck so I can smell nice and clean and not suffer the rejection of chicks for my soiled clothing.

So, what would be the best place and way to sell an unused copy of Prince of Persia for the maximum amount of monies? Should I trade it in or just find some dude or what? Also, was twenty bucks a fair price? My cousin's kind of an ass, so I wouldn't be surprised if I got ripped off.

Thanks!

Edit: Oh yeah. Also, I'm an American in Colorado. Figure that would help.

Which prince of persia are we talking about here? the newest one?i wouldn't have bought that for any amount... if it's one from the sands of time trilogy, you got ripped off cause while they're decent games, they're too old to be worth 20 bucks.

sorry mate, you probably could've found it in a bargain bin for 5 bucks somewhere...
but now that you have it, be sure to enjoy it cause it IS a good game and you're not getting the money back anyway. so play it before you sell it, maybe on a friends machine or something.

If it was an unopened 1989 Apple II copy, or even one of the other early PC or home computer versions from 1990-1, it may be worth something.

But by the time of the console port in 1992, it was too popular to have any real rarity value.

It's worth whatever your willing to pay. However buying a game for a console you don't have...
that's worth nothing. To resell it you'll be lucky to get a fiver.
