So how was your day?

I had an incredibly pointless, tangential and infuriating "debate" with my dad. He responds verbally (in the morning, usually) to things I write and makes dumb excuses for not continuing to respond in writing. I find that infuriating because it means I can't respond thoroughly in my own time, and he gets away with non sequiturs and morphs the argument to something different to shift the goal posts and confuses the hell out of me because I have to try to hold so many things in my short term memory, among other things.

Secondly, the sheer stupidity of his arguments frustrate me. He uses pseudo-science to support something, and when I claim that it's not sufficient evidence, he dismisses the validity of science and logic altogether, and brings up how he doesn't like skeptics or environmentalists or something, and/or bring up the new world order or some shit from a creationist website, or some anecdote to try to prove the validity of anecdotal evidence. I wish he would read Bad Science already. He refuses to because he's "suspicious, because he seems to be promoting scientism".

Apart from that, my day was alright. Just milled about, listened to music, and went online, so it was good, I guess.

Um... pretty terrible, actually >.>
I got the shit kicked out of me by a group of random people who decided they didn't like my slightly eccentric appearance.
Even worse is that a similar event happened not too long ago as well.
So yeah, lovely day on my part.
*hugs*

Stuff like that makes me angry.

Meh. I woke up around noon, which is pretty early for me during the Summer, and immediately laid down on the couch.

I then woke up and finally bothered to get up and find something to eat at about 3 PM. I watched some TV, played guitar, reinstalled League of Legends and played a 5v5 bot game with one of my friends (we lost, because I'm a newbie and basically fed the enemy bots, so we got taken down after like 40 minutes), watched parts of Troll and Troll 2, and ate the best ice cream ever made: Umpqua Chocolate Brownie Thunder. Mmm.

And that's everything I did today. I didn't leave the house, and I didn't do anything interesting whatsoever.

I slept through most of it. I woke up a few hours ago, made it to the corner shops for lunch just before they closed for the day, and since then I have been on the internet. I've been wondering what I should do next, all the while dreading going to work on the weekend and starting my second semester of uni on monday.

So it wasn't a good day, but it wasn't a bad day either. I guess you could say it wasn't a day at all.

Finally got to see Billy Talent in concert. My throat still hurts from the amount of yelling I did. Disappointed I missed the mosh pit though.

Also, may be going to a rave tomorrow, still haven't decided whether to go or not.

It was my birthday... yay.

Had Korean cuisine for supper and upgraded my computer's ram, overall, a great day.

Dude, You're birthday's July 14th, too?
Yep, great time of year to have a birthday.
My 18th birthday is in 3 days (18/7)... Winter is a horrible time to have a birthday (I'm in Southern Hemisphere).. though I have gotten used to it. :p
And, in answer to the original question, my day has been quite boring, or, if you wanna hear about yesterday; busy, yet boring. (I have to catch up on all the holiday homework that I've managed to procrastinate to the last weekend of holidays, fun fun fun)

Got in a fight with my boyfriend. Cried a bit. Ate ice cream and felt better. Made up with boyfriend. Cried some more. Had a decent and emotional day.

Man, if my birthday was in winter I'd have an excuse to ski more often. Winter's my favorite season, not too many people appreciate -40*C weather like I do.

I'm going with 'good'.

After work, went to smoke shop and picked up more Romeo Y Juliette cigarillos, picked up DQ with the lady. Surprisingly it's open as we've had a boil order (major flooding, Minot ND). Walked home and had a nap.

This evening we played Catan with a friend who is leaving town. As a going-away gift I slipped a $20 psn card in his bag with 'for catan and a game of your choice' post-it'ed to it. Hope he enjoys that and can play online.

Now I'm freelancing (waiting for Adobe to save big file) but I need to sleep soon.

Tomorrow should be good as my lady, my boss and I are going to HP7:p2.

Got a birthday party to go to this wknd along with tons of drawing. Oh crap and it's Wintersday in July on Guild Wars this wknd, too. Gotta spend some time farming on there.

Today was 'good', though.

It was alright, considering I've been quite ill. The sooner the sickness passes, the sooner the quality of my days will improve.

Just woke up. Don't know what I'm going to do today but there's loads of leftovers from last night and I recently got Five New DVDs.

It was EXHAUSTING.
I feel like passing out on the floor, but I still have to go to a party in a few hours.

No snow in Melbourne... unless you go to Mt. Buller, and thats not really that great.. not a big fan of snow/cold weather. -40 sounds horrible. And until I finish school - 'tis my last year this year - my birthday is always right at the start of term 3, never in the holidays. This time round its the first day back. So a lot of people are getting confused, saying 'Why are you counting down to school?' and i have to explain to them that i'm not..

Woke up rather late today and I received a copy of Ficthe's collected political writings from Cornell press. Oh, and a really attractive girl was just hired at my job.

Woke up at noon, watch The Lincoln Lawyer (good movie) and went to my grandma's house for dinner and board games. All in all, a good day.

Oh, and I got $132 that my previous employer forgot to pay me back in March. That was fucking awesome.

Merely wondering...

My day was quite mediocre. Had to wake up early to pick up my brother then had to work from 2-9 washing dishes/random kitchen duties. Still banged up from warped tour.

Exciting. My family and I went to Turkey Run State Park here in Indiana and did quite a bit of fun hiking and checking out all the cool sites there. Much more fun than regular hiking down a path as it detours through all the rocks [I should add it's one of the biggest limestone deposits]. Much of it was naturally carved into the rock and there were stone steps carved to connect paths, or wooden ladders going up rock faces, etc. Oh, and we went canoeing!

Only bad part, which really wasn't that bad, was when I was climbing up some rock to pose by this mini waterfall thing that looked awesome. Very, very slippery at the top where I got to, and took a great picture. But, I was stupid enough to climb sideways for another picture, but realized how bad of an idea that was. As I came back to the waterfall I somehow missed a footing and slid down the rock face about 15 ft or so on my knee. I actually ended up slightly twisting it, and scraping up the knee, but the real problem was when my sunglasses fell. They didn't break though, so everything was all good!
