...Okami.
For me, I saw Okami in the "pre-owned" section of my local EB games, knew about Amaterasu from Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and knew Okami got really good reviews, so I bought it for the low price of 10 beans.
Meanwhile, I went through hell (not really) fairly recently just to find an unused copy of the game to purchase... and I've barely played it due to my behind being glued to the computer chair. :p

It's a great game, though, and I hope I'll take the time to play through it soon.

I haven't started recently but I did not play the first Mass Effect game before 2010 and it came out in 2007 I think

Anywho, once I had played it for a while I find out that I fucking loved it
did you like 2 as well? also glad to have another in the ranks of the mass effect fans :D

Yep, I love the second one too, both of them are also on my top 10 games, I'm also one of the few people who did not hate the planet scanning and removal of the inventory system

I finally played more than 15 minutes of a Zelda game. I wasn't impressed. I agree with Yatzee's review entirely, including the heavy handed refrences to Okami.

click this spoiler tag because I didn't my sentence there.

Anyway, on topic. I started playing Knights of the Old Republic for the first time couple of days ago. I've known of it's existance and the praise it gets for a long time but the "Star Wars" tag has made me shy away from it, since I don't particularly like any of the movies. And yes, it's a great game, and I should've started playing it a long time ago.
The KotOR era is the only thing that has to do with star wars that I actually like nowadays. Except, ya' know, the first three movies. Because they owned. The prequels can go fuck themselves tho.

Most of mine came from the summer Steam sale.

Bully - Interesting game but PC controls suck
Alpha Protocol - Has its flaws but overall a fun game, finished it once and am playing again.
Fallout NV - Slow at first but then gets interesting and complex.
