I dont get the naruto hate aside from how quick it became popular

My anime orientated friend showed me the intro to Cardcaptor Sakura. Then showed me a ... remake of it. What is suppose to be an intro with a 10 year old girl is acted out by this 25+ year old dude cosplaying..

Honestly a little more disturbing than amusing, I can kinda see how you'd find it amusing but even though I have read more manga and watched more anime than the average 100 japanese people I STILL don't consider myself on that level of otaku, it's just... I dunno, I don't wanna be a part of it.

I know what you mean. I love anime and manga but I've sworn I will never dress up in costume at a convention of some sort or do one of the famous anime dances.

That being said I still find this really funny. The masks also serve to hide their identities and manhood as well as being funny.
