1. it's not bad.
2. no. i prefer 'lowest possible profile' aesthetics, personaly. i would never consider anything that would make me stand out or suggest that i have a personality.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

As for me, well. I spent the first fifteen years of my life with combovers, parts and buzzcuts. Take a guess how adventurous I am with hair.

1. Looks pretty sweet, if a bit floppy at the front/back might want to straighten it up a bit with some gel.
2. Not really, have bleached and died my hair red once before and right now, I'm planning on growing my hair long.
Yeah, the photo was taken like 2 hours after I had it originally done, and I had been in the rain briefly. But when it was first done it was pretty much straight up.

Gel?

Scuse me for asking, Never had a Mohawk/wanted one.
back combing, gel and hair spray.
I think you should keep your mohawk the way it looks in the picture. That look has a LOT more character to it than just a row of hairs standing on end!

Depending on what circles you frequent, this could range anywhere from completely unacceptable to awesome. As long as you don't have any upcoming formal events to deal with you are golden.

Pretty cool buddy. I think they look better a little shorter, but it looks cool.

Never had a less than ordinary haircut. I mostly just comb it back with water and sometimes a little Brylcreem if I need it to stay better.

edit: Going to end up with a shaved head at some point though. Not strange but different than anything I've ever had.

1. It's fine. I'd prefer to see an image that shows more of you though - to verify that you are cool enough for a mohawk.
2. Nope, not really. Haven't cut my hair in eight years, metalhead as I am.
Everyone is pestering me to cut off the damaged hair.

... Now I gotta flex my drop-dead sexy hair as well!
Over 1 ½ years old, but my hair quit growing a long time ago.

1. It's not bad. But I've never liked mohawks where the side isn't actually shaved.

2. Yeah I had a mohawk for a while, then that evolved into a nice undercut. Now I just have super long hair.

1. Pretty awesome. It'd be cool if it were grey, too.
2. I used to have hair just like my avatar. Difficult to keep it emerald, and I don't enjoy bleaching my black hair to do it either.

1) It's not bad, but I when I look at it I instantly think of cockatoos.
2) Nope, maybe I'll dye my hair someday though.

1) Not really a big mohawk guy, but as far as they go its pretty kewl.

2) I once had an afro, but it wasn't by choice. When my hair grows too long it doesn't go down, it goes OUT. I was so busy for a while that I wasn't able to get my hair cut for almost 8 months. Damn thing looked like I shoulda had a fro-pick in it.
(PS: I'm as white as an igloo)

Hey, the Roman Legions called. They want their crest back.

In all seriousness, I've never been a fan of mohawks. They just look silly (not pompadour silly, but...y'know, silly silly). They're like the third worst haircut next to the flock of seagulls and the mullet.

...I don't get it. But I never did. Well, unless I get into the psychological shit, but that wouldn't be good for anyone.

My husband was talked into cutting his hair into a mohawk once. His work mysteriously drug tested him the next day. Of course, he doesn't do any drugs or even really drink (besides major holidays and special occasions) - but we all had a big laugh about how they all of a sudden started random drug testing and started with him.

1.) I like it. =D Mohawks can be a lot of maintenance though.

2.) Not really the cut, but dyed, yes. I used to dye my hair ALL the time in 'candy' colors. Bright greens, blues, reds, and pinks. But my favorite was always a pinkish-red. But I haven't in a a couple years. The bleaching process is a pain on very dark brown hair, especially over a period of time. Now I'm just growing it out,..it's going well. =D

Sexy is what I think of it. I don't like the mohawks that look like they're made of steel. Yours looks loose.

"... another hipster grad with shell toes who walks with style, trendier than his mohawk"

I don't really like them, I think they look shit and I can't help but dislike anyone that gets one.

In response to the second question, no, not really. I alternate between skin head and long hair.

1. It's... um... uh... horrible.

2. Nope, call me boring.

Sort of On-Topic: Friend of mine got a mohawk before we went camping. His head got sunburned bad.

It's pretty long, so speaking from experience I'd suggest you use unflavored powdered gelatin personally. It'll give it more structure, (you could put it up in liberty spikes for example) and its waterproof (or pretty damn close to it) so you don't have to worry about redoing it every morning after getting out of the shower. I'd usually touch mine up on Friday evenings and it'd be good for the week.

Alternatively if you really want to go all out crusty punk you could use Elmers School Glue too.

PS: Buy a pair of hair clippers so you can keep the sides trimmed yourself.
