Says: Thanks for preordering Battlefield 3. As a thank you, you get a free game from the origin store.

I can pick either Medal of Honor, Mass Effect 2, or Dead Space 2.

So, two things. A: Has anyone else gotten this yet? and B: which one?

Medal of Honor's multiplayer is dead. Dead Space 2 is fun for one run, Mass Effect 2 offers the greatest replayability and play time. But really, it depends on what genres you like. If you only like shooters and aren't that into rpg elements, ME2 isn't going to appeal to you.

ME2, if you have it DS2.

And no, I haven't pre-ordered, so I haven't gotten this mail.

Hmm, that's a downright decent pre-order bonus. For my $.02, though I'm not a huge fan of the franchise, I'd say go with Mass Effect. It'll give you the most gameplay for your *ahem* money. Your mood and personal preference notwithstanding.

That's the thing, though. I already have ME2 for 360. I loved it, and actually I've been looking into getting the series for PC for a while, but I was planning on waiting for one of steam's ridiculous sales so I could pick up the DLC too.....man this is a hard choice.

No I haven't gotten that, presumably because I have absolutely no interest in Battlefield 3 and I don't pre-order games. However if I did, I'd probably go with Dead Space 2, mostly because I don't care for Medal of Honor and I already have Mass Effect 2.

A: Haven't pre-ordered so no.

B: ME2 is easily the best of that bunch.

Edit:

You probably should of mentioned that in the first post. In which case get, Dead Space 2 as I've heard that MOH is just another derivative and mundane military shooter but without the same quality online multiplayer as the COD or Battlefield series.

Hey I would suggest ME2 or DS2 but I assume you ordered from the Origin store? If so when do they charge you for pre-orders?

Were you in the Alpha?

I believe the free game is open to people who pre-order the game and participated in the Alpha.

Medal of Honor and Dead Space are games you should get on the console, particularly PS3. Not only does the PS3 versions of these games have bonus content, but the PC port of DS2 is littered with bugs.

That really only leaves Mass Effect 2 as the game you should get. It's a good game and you should play the first ME game before you start on the second.

If you have an interest in more than one of these titles then just take the most expensive one for free. Makes sense no?

And they just received -5 points from their corporate evil rating. Congrats, ea!
That makes the score what now, exactly?

Mass Effect 2, without a shadow of a doubt. You'll replay it 5 times, 40 hours each time. I know I have.

Odd considering EA's reputation as a villainous company.

Bah.

We will see how it does after Origin's release. I am not holding my breath.
They've outgrown their evilness quite a while ago. The reputation just hangs on like a dingleberry.

If you're willing to pass up Mass Effect 2 on the PC, Medal of Honor isn't bad. I already had ME2 and had no interest in Dead Space so I was sort of forced into it, but I ended up enjoying it.

The singleplayer is short but enjoyable enough and multiplayer isn't dead, just smaller (much smaller) than other games. That said I had no trouble finding a full match in the middle of a weekday.
