These.

Although Morrowind is hard to get into if you played later Bethesda games first.

Not the case with Fallout though, I played F3 first and still enjoyed the other 2 a lot.

Out of your list, Orange Box or any other cheap Valve complation on steam. A good cheap game not on your list that I could recommend is Touchlight(also on steam) for 20 bucks.

I would say Left 4 Dead 2, I finally got around to trying out the uncensored version yesterday (I live in Australia) and I remember saying at one stage, "This is the most fun I have had in a while". My Katana/Shotgun combination was awesomely fun.

I just bought the THQ Complete pack. Trust me, that is one of the best deals I've ever seen in gaming and the sale is only going to last today and then it's over.

But if you're not into that stuff, get the first BioShock and Left 4 Dead 1 or 2.
I got that pack when it was first on the steam deal... by god... £200 worth of games for about £26... *drools*

But yeah left for deads are a good buy.. also get some small games, plants vs zombies etc methinks.. sometimes it's fun to relax to a good and amusing minigame.. oh and get tf2 ^^

VALVE COMPLETE PACK.

You already have the Orange Box titles, but this is everything else for the cost of L4D2 and L4D by themselves. There's months of gameplay in it.

Also I second the STALKER series, especially Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat.

Well, I played Oblivion first, but I liked Morrowind quite a lot when I tried it for a couple of hours, although the AI and the combat system are crap.

OT: Dragon Age. It's very good if you're into RPGs.

I can't say about Mass Effect 2, yet, because I don't have it. Plan on getting it soon though.

I liked Morrowind too, I just got sick of it about 8 hours in for three reasons:

The combat, as you mentioned

The slow walking speed

Cliff Racers

You've already have an excellent range of games but no collection is complete without this:
Aliens vs Predator
I was thinking about AvP, but I heard that it took forever to find a game in multiplayer for the PC version.
You heard right. I 'suspect' you heard it around the demo release to which rebellion has thankfully patched now that everyone has the game. Except me (express dilvery my ASS).

Counter strike is a good game.

And while you have empire earh 3 you should get the first one it is a very good game (a lot better than 2,3).

Buy an old PC running windows 95 or 98, get DOOM 1 2 and Final Doom, Age of Empires II, Castle Wolfenstein and probably some other decent games.

Ooh, I also have some money. This should be interesting.

Oh... it's about games. Never mind.

I'd heartily recommend The Witcher, if you're into RPGs.

If you're not, definitely go for Left 4 Dead 2.
