So I just finished Saints Row 3

And it was spectacular!
Man was I surprised when I went into that game. Having only ever heard about Saints Row from Yahtzee I didn't really know what to expect. I thought it would probably be like GTA, but with more freedom I guess? But hell to the no the difference is astounding.

I just had to come on here and hear if anyone else has enjoyed SR3? I was so surprised of the entertainment value that game had, with the entire game and campaign being co-op viable and all.

So.. Have you tried it? And what did you think?

Absolutely incredible. I don't think I've ever had this much fun - I'm currently running around as a pig-headed superhero, beating evildoers to death with my Apocafists.

I put like 200 hrs into SR2 and then heard lots of things about 3 that made me want to hold off. Think you could put 200 hours into it?

I've got about 30 in right now and I'm only maybe 30% done with the main quest. You easily could. I never played much of SR2 but what I did play seemed to be very very similar in theme and style; if you liked the second then you'll probably like the third even more.

Definitely. Ive been playing non stop since Tuesday, and its fantastic.

OT: The game is utterly.... amazing! I love how it plays "I Need a Hero" when your doing the final mission, that made that whole game for me.

I am only 9 hours in but I could see 200 hours as possible. So many challenges also I love doing the hitman missions by dropping a helicopter on the targets head.

I fear my time will be less in saints 3 due to Skyrim, Witcher, Gothic 3, VTM:B, and STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl.

200 hours is a lot. I've only ever played 2 games past that mark and both of them are multiplayer.
