Clutch! Avoid their first couple of albums, but anything they put out in the last ten years is pure gold. I'd recommend "Slow Hole To China" and "Pure Rock Fury".

What a ridiculous thing to ask. Why would we like the same things as you?

Buy a load of Britney Spears singles, that's what I did with the last iTunes card I got.
Because I figure that someone out there would have similar musical interests, and could help turn me on to some new band.
Erm,
hmm I would probably buy some more Kanye West music or look for any songs by The Killers that I was missing.

If you happen to have an iPod Touch, I would look into getting a game or 2 as well.

Anything by Mogwai. Equally check out Oceansize, 65daysofstatic, Maybeshewill, And So I Watch You From A Far.
It really depends what you are looking for, you can never go wrong with some Massive Attack, Radiohead or The Mars Volta.
If you state a preference in genre I'm sure someone will be more than willing to help in that direction.

You can't go wrong with a bit of Clutch, in my eyes. But that said, I've spent the past week ploughing through all the Clutch vids on Youtube so...yeah.

Also, if you want something a bit..."different", try this rap battle between Hitler and Darth Vader. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFA-rOls8YA] And it is on iTunes so it's still relevant. The Abe Lincoln Vs. Chuck Norris one is there too. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zj2Zf9tlg2Y&NR=1&feature=fvwp]

Recently for valentines day, I received a $10 Itunes gift card and want to use it. Except I'm not really sure what songs I want. So I figured that all my friends at the Escapist could help me! So, any suggestions?
Anything but pop, hip-hop and rap.

Jonathan Richman, get some of his earlier stuff, probably with the Modern Lovers, hell everyone should own a copy of Roadrunner. It's a law or something isn't it?

I just recently bought Adele's new single (Rolling in the Deep), Jessica Lea Mayfield's new album (Tell Me) as well as Justin Townes Earle's newest album (Harlem River Blues).

I don't know what kind of music you like so all I can recommend is what I'm currently enjoying and I feel that what I listed above was worth the cost.

Yea destroy your free money to the most popular legal music download site!

Nothing is more evil than legally bought music at a reputable distributer!

I don't know how no one posted this yet:
I vote you buy some apps or a video if you don't have an iTouch/Phone. Music is a personal taste thing, and I have none when it comes to music. I can't offer sound advice to such.
