Anyway, I'd appreciate any reccomendations, as long as it doesn't include any Brown/Gun Metal Grey macho Space Marine clones oozing testosterone all over the place. :)
I wonder where I have heard that before...

Just get Dead Rising.
Ninjaedit: Was thinking of something else..

Zombies are kinda meh as well.
Well perhaps listing everything you don't like in your first post would be a good idea then. We aren't psychic.

Anyway:

Tenchu Z.
Assassins Creed 2.
Prince of Persia.
Dead Space.
Ninja Gaiden 2.
Oh wow yes Dead Space but make sure you play it at night, in the dark with several spare pairs of underwear.

Hit the XBLA for some of the best and cheapest games on the console. Castle Crashers, Ikaruga, SSF2, Splosion man, Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2, Braid, and many many others. The arcade has tons of genres, great titles, and the good ones are all worth the price if not more. If you own a 360 and have yet to visit the arcade to scope things out take the 10 minutes to do so, I promise you won't be sorry.

I don't know what you're getting at, both of these games work perfectly fine on the xbox and you definately don't need a mouse for either.
They look better, mod support and (for DOA) the combat is VASTLY improved
Dragon Age looks better, I've already said that. There is no noticeable difference in Fallout.

I've already explained the mod support.

The combat system for Dragon Age works fine on the xbox.
I know but it is much BETTER on the PC

That's not a great argument on why it's better.

We were arguing about it?

OK then it's more like an squad based game, you can pause the game at any time and tell your party who to attack and when to attack them

This meaning of argument "a statement, reason, or fact for or against a point: This is a strong argument in favor of her theory". You never gave a reason you just stated.

It's just as easy to change to the character and start attacking the target, then change back to your original character.

None FPS huh?

chin tap

Well, you're definitely short changing yourself there, what with the majority of the big name 360 games being some sort of FPS and what not...oh well try these:

Assassin's Creed II
Castle Crashers
GTA IV (and both the expansions, should keep you busy)
Mass Effect 2 (While you may want it for the PC though, it couldn't hurt the pad out your collection on the 360)
Borderlands (Yeah, it's a first person role playing shooter, but it's still good IMHO)
Dead Space (good for an afternoon or two)

These are the games i've played (sans Mass Effect 2, but I've played the first and the second is already ordered) so I can't say much about other suggestions. You might not be a fan of FPS's, but pick up one or two just for kicks. Modern Warfare 2 for instance is a decent choice for some online multiplayer fun, and like I mentioned Borderlands is good, AND it's an RPG with a fuck-ton of loot, and a lot of fun in groups...

Hope that helped...and if not you, hope it helps someone else

Should definately get dragon age and fallout 3 for rpg games.
No get both of them for the PC. DA:O because well it is being supported on the PC and the only update the 360 got did more harm than good. And Fallout 3 because of the mods.

Other than that I can't improve on the list Dragon Zero has already put forth.

Would seem to me that if he prefers mouse aiming that he would have a gaming PC at home as well. Thus, I'm willing to wager he'd prefer these games on PC.

I suppose you're right, but what I meant to imply was that Dragon Age on PC is, honestly, a superior product, and fallout 3 on PC comes with miles and miles of mod support.

Mod support is a big deal to us PC gamers.

Both are great games regardless of their platform though.
I know that Dragon Age looks better on the pc, but that's the only real difference and it's the kind of game you'd buy for story and gameplay over pretty graphics. There aren't that many great Fallout mods, so I don't see why that's so spectacular. I am a PC gamer aswell so I appreciate good mods, but I do find Fallout lacks them. And final point the op asked for good xbox games, which they both are.
No graphics have nothing to do with it. After spending 150+ hours on the 360 version I see nothing wrong with the graphics. On the 360 the dex is broken (meaning that bow damage doesn't improve the more points you put into dex) and the only update BW has mentioned so far is to fix the DLC achievements. Meanwhile both the PS3 and the PC have had substantial updates that fix some of the problems with it. Keep in mind this is 3 months after launch and the 360 is getting no support. I own it on the 360 and I am disappointed. Somewhat with the game (because I was expecting more ME but they took steps back from Mass Effect than forward). But more with the utter lack of support for the 360 version. Why would you tell someone to spend the same amount of money for an inferior version? At least I am letting him know what some of the problems are with it.

As for Fallout some mods are better than none. No?

And before you get on about how I must be a PC elitist I hate to tell you but the last time I played a game on the PC that wasn't more than a flash website game which kept me entertained for more than 5 minutes was years ago. I am a console gamer to the bone. And they are both alright games all around. There is nothing wrong with Fallout 3 on the 360 although he did mention FPS's are out and Fallout 3 is more FPS that RPG.
I have never had any of those problems with mine, but I don't use bows so I wouldn't notice that. I expect there will be 360 support soon enough. It is a bit ridiculous, but the game still works well enough.

My point about the Fallout mods is that they are completely unecessary to enjoy the game. You also don't need to use guns if you level up smartly. On my second playthrough I made a completely melee character that can do the game on very hard difficulty.

And finally no I don't think your a pc elitist, why? do you think I'm an xbox fanboy?
I would understand if you were cuz the 360 is awesome. Lol. No it is usually whenever someone around these parts says PC version is superior the PC elitist accusation usually follows it. And I do agree that Fallout is quite enjoyable modless. That is how I played it and I invested well over 200 hours without regret until I saw that "Cube" mod (just because I am a big fan of the series).

As for support soon enough? C'mon man it has been three months for a problem that should not have made it past testing. There are other issues that ya I can understand making it past testers. Like the xp glitch or the memory leak that is caused by item duping. But for an entire stat to be broken? No that is unacceptable. Even worse is it has been fixed on the PC (I dunno about the PS3 but I do know the xp glitch has) and the only thing they seem to be concerned about is fixing the broken achievements. That is BS.
I know that some games do work better on a pc. I actually play a lot of games off steam.

I expect their going to fix the bugs because they seem to have a lot of dlc their going to be looking for people to buy. How better to make people buy it then tell them the bugs are fixed with it, or something like that.
And they are. They released a patch along with RTO (separate but at the same time). And it was specifically for the achievement bug (not all the DLC achs show up right because MS servers didn't update for 2 days). Yet when I ask them on thier boards and they answer they have no info on when they are going to fix the real issues. They are hard at work on RTO and Awakenings but not bothering fixing the 60-70 dollar retail version. That is disappointing. That is why I said not to get it for the 360. The other versions have been supported. The 360 owners are being treated like second class citizens. Hell even on thier 360 tech support boards it is a dead zone for developer updates. But mention the DLC or anything else that they can make money on and they are right there with answers.

I wonder if it has to do with sales. Maybe the pc and ps3 had much higher sales and they can't be bothered to work as hard for the xbox because of it's lesser sales. Or maybe their doing the patches alphebetically, another example of why x isn't always a cool letter.

You say you're looking for something like Final Fantasy? I'd hold out for FFXIII. If you absolutely must have a JRPG, I'd suggest Infinite Undiscovery. Ignore the silly title and awful voice acting, and it's a pretty fun game. Imagine the battle system from FFXII, but in real time.

This would probably be my highest recommendation. Also look at Dragon Age though also.
