It really isn't best choice. Its a pretty unwieldy gun to hide and then bring into a scenario like that to kill folks.Eisenfaust said:

My school was threatened with a shooting just after I left by 2 morons, the idea never went further than what I imagine was a crude drawing pinned to a fridge door. They basically said they wanted to fill a van full of explosives, drive and detonate the van in the shopping center 5 minutes away from the school, and then raid the school with guns. They were find out before anything even happened, the news showed footage of them with homemade explosives in their garden, but they were fucking fireworks. It was pathetic, they probably don't even know where to buy a van, let alone bombs and guns.
Apart from that, nothing really happened. A few people in my year were kicked out for selling cocaine, I find that quite funny though.

Why would he shoot himself with an AK? I don't know Texas gun laws but I can't imagine getting a hold of an assault rifle/ammo would have been cheap. Here is a link for anyone that's interested.

4 years ago I bought 2 WASR AK-47s and 1000 rounds of ammo for them. Gave one to a friend as a wedding gift. Total cost I don't think broke $700 for everything. Walked in - filled out the background form - they ran me through the FBI database and I was out the door in like 15 minutes.teutonicman said:

To get an automatic AK-47 you are talking spending around $20,000 or more. They are legal to own - but they are not for everyone. It drives me nuts reading people talking about why did this guy have an automatic and Texans must be insane to hand out automatic assault rifles.
