This has been a horrible 20 minutes...
All I can find is expensive copies of SOTC, some fucknut SPOILED SOTC for me, now some bastard is going to ruin the movie of SOTC!?

My brothers and sisters, while we were distracted by the laughable evil that is Uwe Boll... an even greater threat to Video Games reared its ugly head, and its name is Justin Marks.

We must fight to save all that we love! The first Lady of Video Games was the first target, she was taken by surprise and went down quickly and quietly. We have received intell on the next target, his name is Wander, profile indicates he is nails and takes down colossal monsters, we must do all we can to aid this young man to fight back the evil that stalks him!

I watched this when I stumbled upon it...

So I think I've seen all of it I'd care to. The few people I know that have seen it have told me thus:

"You know how the first street fighter film was bad? Like horribly over-the-top pathetic kinda bad?"

"Yes. Yes it was."

"But you know how you still watch it sometimes to laugh, and be completely WTFROFL'ed by how incredibly bad it was, and how they though it was not only worth making but also showing to people?"

"Yeah, it's kind of like the Mario Bros movie, or the Mortal Kombat ones. Fun to watch when you're stoned or some such."

"Exactly."

"So this new movie?"

"It isn't one of those."

(Cold, unamused face by him. Then me. Silence.)

There really is no way to describe just how bad this movie is. I mean, how do you screw up a Chun-li movie?

All you need is the following:

1: Hot actress who can look the part, its a movie based on a fighting game, no one expects much dialogue.
2: Add in some over the top fight scenes.
3: Throw the plot out the window, its not like there has ever been any consistency in the games or Anime or Comics.

Where they tried to be sexy, it came off as clumsy and awkward. Where they tried to be action packed it came off as dull. Where they tried to tell a story it was disjointed and convoluted. Where they tried to bring in characters, all they shared with their VG counterparts was a name.

I mean... I watched DOA and had a good time, laughed from start to finish at just how bad it was. Chun-Li was even disappointing at being bad.
