More often than not, you can get the same game from them, as a steam code, for the same minus whatever coupon they seem to have available alllllll the time. Not only that, but their coupons work on more than one game. You just need to do separate purchases. Also works on pre purchases.

Aside from gifts, I haven't really gotten anything. Waiting for something worthwhile.

...and my personal favorite, Train Simulator 2013, now $15 on steam. Play for the best ever graphics and train physics ever conceived. An absolute MUST BUY, so worth it. I have racked up at least 500 hours so far, and still finding new ways to play the game.

Don't forget to grab all the DLC! It's normally over $1600, but it's all half off. That's OVER $800 SAVINGS. How is that not awesome!

Even if it was mentioned before, this was the post that had me check green man gaming, see that Sleeping Dogs was 17 bucks, have a hassle with payment for a bit, but finally got the steam code

Proceeded to use the promotional voucher for 30% off Arkham City's $7.50, and spent $5.25 of the $6 GMG cash I got for buying Sleeping Dogs.

Thank you... oh man this is fantastic. I didn't even have to spend any more money for Arkham City.

Whoever these developers are should work at a bigger company, such as Valve. I'm sure with their set of skills then HL3 will be out before you can say "HOLY SHIT".

Did I mention I preordered Train Sim 2014? Best way I have spent my money in years, now I don't have to leave the home to have great graphics, storytelling and unparalleled realism! I hear they are upgrading the human models' resolution from 600x480 to 800x350! My wet dreams don't have that much detail!

You're welcome! The number of times I've seen responses similar to this... I swear, I think GOG would immediately see an increase in users if they just change their website to read (also the advertise themselves the same way): "GOG.com - we have Dungeon Keeper!". Their motto could be "Come for Dungeon Keeper, stay for the great games."

This is the part where you realize you don't have enough time to play ALL the awesome games that come out every single week(or days in some cases).There always is a gem which you "have" to play just to see why is it so good.
However I'd advise making a list and notes as to which games you've heard and once you want to play them when they're on a deal,just buy and play it without looking back at anything else.This way you can save a lot more money,because you'll be fully enjoying each product you buy instead of most just sitting in your Steam library,waiting to be "played at some time".

But remember,your limit isn't money,it's time,use it wisely,especially when you know a game is going to hook you into playing it for quite a while.Don't buy every game on a 60% and below sale,don't buy every good game you hear,buy a good game on sale which you are going to play at the moment and your hobby won't become as redundant.

As a general rule, I would recommend to look into the kind of genres that barely or not at all exist on consoles. Strategies, point-and-click adventures, MMOs, sims, etc. You might not like all of them, but you might like some of them.

Getting more pixels out of Skyrim, or more easily controlling Portal, might be relatively good reasons to smugly laugh at console gamers, but in the end, it's the entirely unique experiences that justify the PC platform.

This is a little anachronistic, but pick up Battlefield 2. The expansions are free now and it's brilliant, it's so brilliant that it makes 3 feel more than a little disappointing. Prepare to spend a lot of time dieing at random to begin with though...

I also highly recommend anything STALKER and getting Valve Complete pack off of Steam.
