So I recently found out that I won't be able to play Skyrim, after preordering it.

Wait, hold on... So what exactly "toasted"? Because unless it spontaneously combusted, I doubt every component in your PC is as "toast" as you think...
Implying we all have the money available to swap 2-3 components?

I'm not exactly swimming in money and I believe that a lot of people here aren't either.

I didn't imply you were pretentious or rich! And you don't need to be rich to buy a computer suited for gaming. Mine was bought 3 years ago and it's still going strong after a 250? investment (scavenged screen and sound system from my old one).

Anyway, sometimes we have issues we can't deal with. I need a new PSU otherwise I am risking all other my components. I am still using my computer and I still play games on it, either old games or in lower resolutions.

However, you did imply that I thought about trashing the computer. I never said that.

I am not saying he has to dump his computer, it's just that some stuff has to wait. If your spark plug is finished you're not going to be driving anyway. He's not playing until he can repair his computer.
