Woohoo, blinded by fanboy rage you've clearly missed the several instances where I say that I liked both games, this whole thread was made to point out how hype is a terrible thing. But I'm sorry if you can't read through those tears.

Text conveys no emotion so how you want to view it is open to your imagination.

Portal 2 has genuine faults none of which you mentioned yet, you simply found annoyances for the sake of finding annoyances.

Hey everyone! I have a negative review of a popular property and here are my reasons why what everyone said about it is wrong in my eyes.

You can dismiss this as fan outrage all you want, but I'm going to call shenanigans on this part. Everything else you said is entirely a matter of opinion and it's not my place to argue with that, but I really don't see how you could say this given the massive amount of variety in the game compared to the first one.

Portal 2 is an expansion pack to the first game in the same way that the Louisiana Purchase was an expansion pack to the United States.
