Hello fellow Escapists. Like I said, today, I turned on my TV and just at the exact moment I pressed the button on the front, a car crashed outside my house creating a HUGE bang. However, I thought that it was my TV and dove for cover, grabbing my dog mid-flight like a John McClane wannabe.

So Escapists, my question to you is 'what are your moments of perfect timing?'

Their must have been one event in your life that was so perfectly timed...

Similar thing happened to me the other day. I turn on my laptop, and the moment I type in my password, I hear this huge bang from down the road while I shelter my kitten. Turns out it was someone from down the road.

Holy shit.
That must have been a shock.

Uh... I can't actually think of anything, except this video.

Okay, I'm pretty sure it's staged, but it amuses me oh so much.

When I was 9 or so, I was playing with Legos, and I created a villain. The second I said his name, lighting struck in front of my house. I took that enemy apart and never made him again...

I was sitting on the couch with my friends playing xbox, we were making fun of the matrix and one of them quoted it saying "Neo are you ready to learn the truth about the matrix." right after he said it the power failed and all the light went out.

So, a lot of times when I'm watching Netflix on my Xbox, friends will sign on and the game will make that achievement noise, and a lot of times it feels like the characters in the movie just earned an achievement.

I think the funniest was one time I was watching True Lies and it was at the scene were Jamie Lee Curtis was doing her strip tease and the moment that she hit Arnold in the head with the phone, a friend signed on. I laughed for like 5 mins straight.

Just recently, I was at college with my friends, and two of them were playing were playing a fighting game, and one of my other friends suddenly asked "What are you watching?" As soon as they asked this, the game the two were playing suddenly gave off noise that sounded like a girl moaning, as to respond to the question but making look like they were watching something else.
Everyone laughed at perfect timing to the question.

Also, when I was around 10 years I was visiting one of my relatives, along with everyone in my family. I was outside in the yard walking, and I stretch my arms out sideways, and as soon as I as I did I felt something hit one of my arms, followed by a thud. My cousin's son, who was younger than I was, was outside as well decided to run in front of me, and I accidentally clothes-lined him.

The first one that comes to mind is when vaccinations became more common, and at the same time the requirements for autism changed (making the rate in diagnosis 1 in 110). Its funny, because now a lot people believe that its vaccinations that caused the increase in the autism rate and not the change in diagnosis. It gets even better, a lab "proved" that it was infact the vaccinations that cause autism; it turns out that that same lab was paid off by an attorney, who was trying to sue a vaccine company.
There's going to be a lot of unneccesarily sick kids.

I was camping with my dad, his friend and his friend's son and daughter and his friend's daughter's friend.

Anyhoo, we were telling ghost stories. One of them was about Dracula, naturally. It started off in the usual way, big castle, stormy night, and in the castle lives a terrifying fiend...DRACULA! At the mention of the word Dracula, our campfire suddenly spat out a huge amount of sparks and cinders, frightening the two girls. That was funny and awesome.

This reminds me of the time I sat on my remote, accidentally turning the volume on my 5.1 receiver all the way up, right before accidentally pressing the radio button. The noise was so loud that my roommate, who was in another room separated by solid concrete walls, thought that a plane had crashed into the building.

OT: Can't think of any "perfect timing" moments off hand, unless you consider the fact that the incident I described above happened in the wee hours of the morning, when everyone but me was in bed...
