I went to high school with a guy who is currently doing gay porn. Other than that, I don't really have anything. OT: I started a new job recently and mentioned to a coworker I had studied psychology at university and made a joke about reading minds (because for some reason that is generally the first thing peope say when I mention this). His response was to tell me he used to be in the military in some capacity and that he had to work out how to get information from people "even when they don't want to tell me" (direct quote). I get the slightly concerning impression that he meant torture and subsequently I've avoided prolonged conversations as far as possible so it obviously changed the way I act towards him.

I went to school with Franco's (this being the Spanish dictator for most of the 20th century) great-grandson. He was about six or seven years younger than me, and left the school after two years, so I don't think I had any contact beyond someone pointing him out to me, but as someone whose family had to emigrate to the USSR because of his great-grandad, it was rather awkward.
