if you're going for something that looks remotely real, i'd suggest the second picture, it looks real enough at a first glance, but if you want something awesome, the third picture seems pretty cool

Or you could just get some bad-ass tattoos and sport an eye patch...
Or or, you could head to 4chan to /wg/ (wall papers) and check out some of the creations there...
If you go with an Illusive Man Design I will be your best friend forever!Kroker said:In a couple weeks' time, I shall be getting a new eye in addition to my usual (normal) prosthetic eye. For this one I can have my own custom design. So basically, I was wondering if any of my fellow Escapists have any good ideas (or maybe even your own designs!) to suggest. As a general idea of what I'm thinking of currently, here are a few images I dug up that I like.

I think you get the point. I'd like to go for something that looks brightly surreal and distinguished, without seeming like an obvious novelty (well, so it looks remotely real). Something inspired by a big blue supernova. Yeah, supernovae are cool right? Not to say the more whacky ideas aren't welcome. Other ideas so far have been a yellow smiley face, an 8-ball, a reptilian eye and an eye in the style of that of the Illusive Man from Mass Effect 2. So c'mon everybody, lemme hear whatcha got.
EDIT: If it helps at all, I have dark brown eyes with dark rings around my irises. Thanks to 'PeePantz' for reminding me that this could be a useful piece of information.
It looks like I'm staring into my soul...that's creepy! I want one now <.< *pulls out eye*Actual said:Snip
That's how my grandma's eyes are they aren't completely black but they're a very, very dark brown so you can't tell the difference... it's really creepy especially since she slept with her eyes open...<.<Actual said:These are cool and all but why not get a regular prosthetic and then buy custom contact lenses for it?
That way it's cheaper and you can have lots of different designs.
I'd take a simple all-black lens.
