[HEADING=2]Get Well Soon[/HEADING]

I was sick last week.
Thank you, kind Sir!

I'm glad to hear that you overcame it! What was the matter with you? (If you feel uncomfortable answering, feel free to tell me to fuck right off!)
Drank half my weight in soda, that was a good weekend. lol.
Christ man, that made me laugh so hard I coughed for 2 minutes straight. I don't mean to laugh at other people's misfortune, but that is one hell of an achievement!

Never get sick over the summer, but as soon as school comes around everyone decides to play the sneeze on everything forget to wash your hands game. It's not fun and I always end up ill.

Oh yeah, and a couple years back was my last serious sickness. I went into hospital with anaemia, apparenly cause by some Helictobacteria in the mucus lining my stomach. The little bacteria though it would be fun to have a chew at my stomach lining and I ended up bleeding internally.
Damn dude, that sounds pretty darn serious. I've never had anything quite like that, though I did get admitted this one time, because I had fallen off a ladder and collapsed a lung. Not so much a sickness, but still uncomfortable. Yours sounds worse, though!

It sounds worse than it actually is. Though to this day, I start downing anything spicy and blood comes up. Can't take em out with antibiotics, they're just there and I have to do my best to not irritate them. But getting over it was just a course of iron tablets. Now a collapsed lung sounds worse if you ask me. How was it? Painful?

You have no idea mate, it was friggin' terrible. But I was lucky, though, it hadn't been punctured, only collapsed, so they inflated it pretty quickly. It hurt like a... but that was also because my back had broken the fall, which is also a little painful. The worst part is how you have to seriously work, to get any air around. I know people say it's possible to live with one lung, but when you try it like that, it's not very nice.

I feel pretty lucky. Also my day just brightened up a little knowing I've never had to deal with that... everything's fine with it now though, right?

I don't get sick often. I was hospitalized three years ago to fix my broken nose, that's about it besides the odd "I don't feel so good *hurl*, okay I'm better".

Also, GET WELL SOON you awesome-sunglasses-putting-on-person!

... with a middle ear infection, a cold and a nasty fever.

As of this moment it is 39,7 degrees Centigrade (103,46 degrees Fahrenheit). Don't worry, nothing serious (as if anyone on the internet would care! *Snif*).

But that got me wondering;

When was the last time the Escapists were sick? And what was wrong with you?
[sub]If you've broken a limb, had food poisoning or been hospitalized etc. etc., feel free to add that aswell.[/sub]

Being hung over, however, does not count!

Never been sick? Feel free to brag about that too!

[sub]EDIT: As I might have known, the Escapists are much nicer people than what you might find on the rest of the internet, so to all the 'get-weller's' being posted, thanks in advance :)[/sub]
I haven't been sick since April, I think, and that was a stomach bug. I even missed the annual summer cold somehow, so I'm probably going to get destroyed by something pretty quick. I'm just awesome like that. I hope you start feeling better though. Fevers during warm months are not fun at all.

I'm sick right now! High five!

It's really have a diagnosed sickness, my doctors have either been unwilling or unable to determine what it is, but every once in a while for about 4 days I get really nauseous, have a burning feeling in my chest and throat, and have a horrible taste in my mouth.

The last time I was sick was last year when I got both the flu and swine flu within two weeks of eachother. They both lasted about three days. Can you believe people die of it.

Ahh, shit man. Hope you get better soon.

OT: I don't get sick often, but when I do (which is only once every 7 years or so) it's usually enough to warrent a trip to the ER.

Like a year ago.

Which is weird because before that, I was sick like once every 2 months. Oh well, I guess my immune system finally got its act together.

The last time I was sick (2 years ago) I had a double ear infection. It was the worst kind of pain I've ever experienced. The meds I took also had one very frustrating side affect. Instead of making me drowsy, they made me hyper as hell. I don't think I ever saw so many sleepless nights. Heh worst mistake I made was the first time I took those pills I'd taken them with coffee and a mountain dew. (I assumed they'd make me sleep. Boy was I wrong)

I'm sorry you have an ear infection. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Hurled my intestines up a couple nights back. Dunno if "something I ate" counts as being sick, but that's the answer I'm going to stick with.

Maybe because you're healing!

You know, because your username is The_Healer and all...

Sorry, I'll stop now.
