I went to get some thai-food with two of my friends after school, we sat on a bench and had some laughs. And when I came home I had my first driving lesson. That's about it.

It was fun! =)

On the actual day of my 18th birth, I couldn't do very much, since It was a school day.The next day however I simply went to a Dropkick Murphys gig, which was awesome. That's about it really.

Eh, I turned 18 in May. Had a party which was supposed to be a big one, but only a couple of people turned up. That pissed my mum off 'cause she catered for 100 people. But I didn't mind. Party food leftovers are awesome.

Personally, I'm not really one for parties, but some of the photographs from that night are hilarious. I passed out on a few tables that night XD
I'd have much rather stayed in and played video games, but mother dearest had been planning that party for years, so meh.

I was a few days shy of being able to vote, which is a bugger. I don't want the bloody Conservatives.

The whole of year eighteen was like a CD skipping for me. Everything screeched to a halt, and it ended up being a weird, unproductive year. So for my nineteenth, we decided to scrap the previous year and try it again from scratch. I did nothing for my eighteenth, but for 18 Version 2.0 we went for Japanese food and then to a rock club the day before, had a house party on the day, and a gaming marathon the day after. With a start like that, it should be a good year!

I also got my own birthday cake. After years of having to share my cake with my siblings, we all got one each ^^

I got absolutely hammered. It's tradition here. I seem to remember waking up in the morning asleep in my garden with a traffic cone.

Fear me, for I am cliche.

Same, definately try it, it's great fun, if a little painful.

Bought a bottle of vodka, just because I could. Clerk lady didn't even ask for my ID, so I was annoyed.

Apart from that, I really can't remember, so probably nothing special. I'm not at all bothered by birthdays anyway.
Doesn't that always suck? You wait and wait, never trying because if you get busted you could be in trouble and always relying on others to supply, and then the moment comes and they don't even id you.

Turning 18 sucks in Canada because you still can't legally drink. However voting for the first time was kind of cool. I remember for my birthday I had blast at a buddies camp.
Try turning 18 last year in the US. I can't drink and I didn't even the fun of voting in a presidential election.

OT: I would say just get a bunch of your friends together and go out and hit the bars in the area you live. Try and have some underage friends there or a teetotaler friend with you to make sure (as best they can) things don't get too out on control

Erm, I didn't do much of anything tbh, I just had some friends over and went to dinner at Olive Garden.

Being able to buy lotto tickets, cigs, go to porn shops, etc. aren't things to look forward to because you won't really do them anyway unless you've already REALLY wanted to.

For my 18th, I had a barbecue with my family, my girlfriend and a few close friends, and it was one of the best days I can remember. For me, if I plan to do something, I don't drink too much because I want to remember it.

I didn't do much. Invited a load of friends out for a meal and only three turned up. Went to see Alice in Wonderland, and visited the Games Forum in the local museum, then went for drinks. Still managed to have fun though.
