I turned 22 today, and i have no idea what to do for my birthday. All of my friends work tonight and I'm not much for bar hopping alone. Im thinking about buying a new game, but have no idea which one. Im into almost any genre of games, i just have no idea what get.
Im pretty bored, so if yall have any advice on anything lemme hear it.
EDIT: Its also almost my 4 year birthday here. Noice
Well, Terraria gave me a lot of joy. It's one of those games I keep going back to. There's been a big update recently and each time I return I find something new. Torchlight II and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind are interesting RPGs that you can sink a lot of time into, particularly the latter.
And hell yeah, Morrowind. Why not? The only potential downfall from playing Morrowind (never mind the graphics) is you'll start to wonder why Bethesda dropped the Mark/Recall/Intervention spells. They come in pretty handy.
Hmm, in retrospect, I should have capitalized Squid.
If you really can play just about anything, then:
Sid Meier's Pirates - download or disc. The disc is backwards compatible but it's also available on Xbox Live. The naval battles are great and could be mistaken for a very crude, almost N64 era prototype of the ship-to-ship battles I hear are in ACIV, which I haven't played. Still worth it though.
If you didn't jump on the hype train for Beyond Good and Evil, I still recommend it. It's downloadable on 360 and only has one bug (there's a section in the sewers with lasers) in which the camera keeps moving on its own. Aside from that, it's a great game with light RPG elements. Has a decent amount of exploring as well.
Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate - This is only $10 on Steam. It's a tower defense game that is fairly easy to finish, but getting all perfects across the board is pretty hard. I'm still missing quite a few 'perfects' on the PSN version, but the Steam version comes with like twice the maps of the original. This can also be played online, and sometimes you need the help. It's a bit cutesy though.
Also, since your profile lists first person games, if you haven't played the first Ghost Recon on PC, you have to. Now, you can get the Complete Pack on Steam for $30, but the original Ghost Recon is just ten bucks. The online no longer works out of the box, so to speak, but being able to play as any of your (up to) six-man team was something that should have been kept throughout the series.
