And I don't feel like doing it. So, I need your help to keep me procrastinating. What do you do when you don't want to do something?

Oh, and before anyone says it, (and I have no doubt that someone will) "watch porn. Nothing but porn." There. Done.

Mate, do the fucking homework. I don't care how pointless, tedius or unchallenging it may appear, do it. If you get it out of the way, it can't bother you when you're having a good time looking at porn and playing video games.

I usually... uh... make threads about it...
Awkward.

Right, anyway, depending on what country you're in (if you're in America...) it really shouldn't be that hard. And besides, not doing you homework will give you loads of hell later. You might as well do it.

Well I'll be the devil's advocate I suppose.

"Down with homework, besides it's not teaching you anything you didn't know already"

how about instead of doing homework you teach yourself how to play an instrument? at least it's constructive.

Just do the damn homework.
This, I've spent most of my life procrastinating and I barely got into university as a result. Don't fuck about, you'll regret it.
Just me wondering here, in the US (assuming that's were you are) is it very common to get into university or how does that work.

OT: If you're not satisfied with your education, quit it and learn a job. That or stay put and do your homework. Both can work out I guess.

Now I don't believe that the very first thing you should do when you get home is your homework. I mean it helps to be that efficient, but most people need to relax for a bit. Nothing wrong with that so long as you do get it done eventually.

However, if you're so bored that you are consulting an internet forum for things to do then why not just do the damn homework? It's not like you have anything else going on.

It depends on what school you're trying to get into. Pretty much anyone can go to community college, but if you want to get into the good ones you really have to work. Some of them are incredibly competitive.

Huh... just do it. You'll have a better feeling of satisfaction in a few hours' time if you do it. If it's that crappy, have some music playing in the background.

Oh, boo hoo. In a few years you will actually pay people to assign it to you.

Do it.

Believe me, unemployment is a *****.
Very true. Unforunately, doing well in school doesn't necessarily get you a job. Seriously, studying Art History was a terrible idea. I have a freaking Masters and scrub toilets in a hotel for a living, because it was the only job I could get after 3 months of searching ;_;.

OT: Yeah, just do the homework. Christ, I feel like the Fun Police.

edit: sorry, I didn't see the OT and thought you were advising me to drop out if I wasn't satisfied.

Its not uncommon to fail to get in outright, but a lot of people have to get in via universities they didn't want to go to or doing courses you didn't want to do.

Go read random wikipedia articles, if you're lucky you'll in fact be doing your homework after-all

Hmmm, that explains it. With me it's more if you can do a job and you've got money and a career going. I dropped out of higher education, because I couldn't be damned to learn what they wanted me to and went to a lower school to learn stuff I did want to learn and earn more than enough and I haven't 'really' worked since.
