Hard work pays off in time. Laziness pays off now.

However, laziness means that in 3 hours, you'll still have a bucket of work to do, and less time to do it, and less opportunity to enjoy anything which crops up in the meantime.

Leaving aside any argument about the future, it's probably better to just do it piece-by-piece and be able to relax. I normally break my law readings up with half an hour of painting, gaming or procrastination for every hour of work, and it's working okay for me.

Oh fine, I'll do the fucking homework. Party poopers.
Woo positive peer pressure, more fun to muck about knowing there isn't work that eventually has to be done anyway. :)

Procrastinating is a self handicapping method used to maintain a high self esteem. "I only got a C, but that's cause I didn't do the work" Or "I passed, just shows how good I am, I didn't even need to study". I know that cause I procrastinate like crazy. I also know it's not easy to get started when it's engraved into you but you gotta start somewhere, right? Just try and do the homework.

Do it.

Believe me, unemployment is a *****.
I second this. Oh so much. If I could go back to school, I would in a heartbeat. Especially if it meant I didn't have to be looking for a job.

Really? I have NO homework. That's right! I'm my own man tonight. LOL!

Seriously though, you really should do it. If education is a computer, then homework has the importance of your monitor.

Just do it. You'll feel really good after doing it.
I just finished mine (it was just a sheet of work for IT, but it still counts) and now my evening is free of worry.
Just put on some good music and get to work.
