So... I've just gone bald. (Drunken decision, I'm not old just yet)

Ha! I remember doing pretty much same as you fella. I had a past-the-shoulder mane too (years ago) and then when drunk got bet £50 by one of my mates that I wouldn't shave it off. Turns out I didn't suit a bare-blade skinhead, but as my hair was growing back I realized that I did suit a No 2 buzz, and I've had that look ever since.

My advice? Don't hide under a hat. Let everyone (including yourself!) have a laugh at the results of your latest drunken antic.
I didn't even get £50 off it -.- should have thought of that. Its weird... I look fairly hard for the first time in my life.
I went in to college with a hat on, but the video of the event my friend put on facebook circulated and it turns out there was no need. Most people thought it looked ok, some of em really liked it. I've decided I quite like it too, people have been comparing me to Daughtry and Morpheus and Maynard Keenan of Tool. Which is awesome. Daughtry is a handsome chappie and the other two are both... well they're Morpheus and Tool's lead singer.

Also ignore the 'before' picture I put up... my hair had another year's growth on it before I shaved it off, just can't find any pictures :/

Decided I'm not hiding it!

I love my hair short. It goes with my love for hot weather. Seriously, when I was informed I had to keep my hair short in order for my dandruff shampoo to work, I squeed.

Personally, I find nothing creepier than a grown man with a hairless chin.
As if I don't feel bad already for not being able to grow a proper beard :(

Personally I'd never go bald, but seeing other males in my family I think nature will beg to differ. On other hand they all have awesome mustaches and beards while I can't grow proper facial hair. So there's still hope. Where was I going with this ? Oh yeah.
It's really hard for me to empathize with any stupid decision people make while drunk. Still, I say accept it and wear it with pride. Complement it with some facial hair, ladies love it ;)

I fuckin' love my ponytail, but I'm not opposed to a shaved head. I wouldn't voluntarily shave my head, though.

Sigh...every time I see somebody with the perfect head shape ask if they should stay bald, while I'm sittin here with my potato head, I want to "rough up the terrain" a bit, if you know what I mean.

Alos, your hair before The Baldening wasn't all that long. When it's down to the small of your back, then you can say you had long hair!

My friend Shanna loves bald guys. I have a fetish for long hair on men, long long thick hair.
Hmm, sounds like you'd like my hair. About 2 feet long and stupidly thick.

Needless to say, I'm not particularly inclined to go bald.

You look good :3 Don't worry hair grows back. If anything, you'll find a female who enjoys people with buzz cuts because it's fun to rub their hand against the short hairs (this girl over here).

The biggest change was when I cut my hair really short. I decided in fifth grade that I wanted to donate my hair so it could be made into a wig, so it went from being ass length, to a pixie cut. Let me tell you, that was a great decision. My head felt so damn light!

Also when I coloured my hair. That was fun.

I used to have really long hair, pretty much down to my arse in my heavy metal days. Then I cut it quite short and eventually had it all shaved off when I got fed up of styling and looking after it.

Ironically now that I am fed up of having a shaved head and would like to grow it out, its the only hairstyle I can have as I am going properly bald.

So I guess the moral of this story is, enjoy your hair while you can.

Oh uh... no homo, but your the kind of person that it works for.

My hair is weird. My hair situation is iffy. I can do short hair well, and I can do long hair well. It's just the middle ground seems to not work well unless I make an active effort to use hair gel, which seems very unmasculine for me. I'd look good with long hair, except it comes in really straight, and before puberty, it used to sometimes look a little bit too much like a girl. It's been gradually becoming a little more wavy over the years, but I'm still not fond of it. It looks decent when I don't wash my hair for a day or two, but yeah. I'm sort of fond of hygiene. I'll feel a little more comfortable if a beard ever grows on me.

I've done really short, but I've never gone completely bald. I'm saving that for when I go do a year in South America and have to save a kidnapped wife of rich business man.

Funnily enough, my (female) flatmate did something similar last year. Came back drunk and shaved her head. It was quite strange considering she's fairly girly but after that initial "LOLBALD" reaction you never question it.

It's much easier to pull off the bald head look if you're a guy, and particularly since you've got the beard going on. I'd try it myself were it not for the fact I'd look like a carbon copy of my uncle. =/

I think it looks good on you, but you only have a side picture to judge by (also, the beard-thing in the first picture was horrifying, never again please).

The bald look is definitely for certain people. I don't think I could pull it off. I have a decent jaw, but a bigger head, so I'd probably look like an alien (as it is, unless I get short hair with slightly shorter sides, my head looks kind of ... inflated???

Pics are up, it happened.
Nice one. You're a handsome dude and, like me, both hairstyles work for you. I guess it boils down to comfort and convenience, and which you prefer.

On the hat topic: don't hide it, unless it's cold out. Then get a beanie, stat. Nothing colder than a cold head on a cold day.

I started going bald almost 10 years ago, when I was 22.

I shaved my head and never looked back.

I dig the look, and girls say it suits me.
