Same thing as when they cast Ludacris as Jim Bravura in the Max Payne movie or Idris Elba as Heimdall in the Thor movie. The latter was pretty good as Elba is awesome, the former was just inexcusable.

Prolly why you haven't heard anything is because we're in the summer blockbuster season and they are busy advertizing the hell out of the stuff coming out in a couple months instead of something coming out next year, hell they arent even doing much ad work with the Hobbit and that is coming out at the end of 2012.

Well considering the source material, that's hardly a surprise, but I personally don't mind that Jaime Foxx is Lynch, I like Jaime Foxx and in fact whenever the movie comes out I'm probably going to watch it just because it has Bruce Willis and Jaime Foxx in it.

Ahhh movies about games that we heard about years ago but nothing seems to be happening.

I put the Kand and Lynch movie in a file along with Devil May Cry and World of Warcraft who both also have movies being made but haven't done anything about them for years.

They are going to make a World of Warcraft movie? I guess they would get there money back but I could think of better uses for that much money. Like heat.
