OT: I have Firestorm over Kronus, which I think is the most common Dark Crusade mod out there. It's pretty good.
Isn't the reason obvious? Because they don't want you making the game better with your filthy mods, they want you to buy updates. Buy new guns, buy new cars, costumes? We got them! Garry's Mod rarely exceeds more than 6 or 7 addons. I don't own any other addon-esque games. I did notice, though, that games with Mods/SDKs are becoming more rare. It's such a shame.
