Oh I thought you meant moderator hehe

and Nahhh, I mean it's kinda interesting to see what people come up with to add to a gaming experience. Or adding something you like to make the game a little bit more enjoyable to you.

Ermmm..maybe. My mod folder only contains Dark Crusade mods. So it's only like 200-300 MB, which is like 1/20 of the filesize for DOW.

Not really. Although, I don't really play games enough to have that many mods in the first place :p

I got mods, only for oblivion though, the unfortunate part is that the game wont start up anymore and i cant see the mods in action.

Such as?

OT: I have Firestorm over Kronus, which I think is the most common Dark Crusade mod out there. It's pretty good.

The most modding I usually do is reskins or something along those lines. So my mod folders are never that huge.

Good texture mods can get really big, so it's not surprising that they're bigger than the core game.

No, I don't usually download "LOLOLOLOL FIFTEEE BILLON MODZZZZZZ!!11!111!1"

Garry's Mod rarely exceeds more than 6 or 7 addons. I don't own any other addon-esque games. I did notice, though, that games with Mods/SDKs are becoming more rare. It's such a shame.

I recently went back to play Fallout 3 without mods. I couldn't do it...I spent the next few hours getting all my mods back. It was horrible :(

My God... It's full of mods...

Isn't the Oblivion texture mod 5-10Gb or so on it's own? I might give Oblivion another try when I get atround to dsownloading that. I'll try to not accidentaly so many horses next time too.

Isn't the reason obvious? Because they don't want you making the game better with your filthy mods, they want you to buy updates. Buy new guns, buy new cars, costumes? We got them! Fuck your community says the publisher, we want your money.

Hope you're using TSLRCM. They also have a list of compatible mods for it.

You should play UT: GOTY or 2004. So fuckin many mods it's ridiculous. Idk how many there are for UT3 yet.
