Amazon just sent it to me today. I'm a little busy so I won't have time to read until later this evening, but I'm super excited. I'm sure it's gonna be great.

What about you guys? Did you get it? If yes, have you read it yet? If not, do you plan on getting it?

Planned to, pre-ordered, then cancelled when I realized I didnt really have a clue what it was about or any previous experience with Mr. Croshaws as a writer (besides his bitchy and relevant articles). Decided I didnt want to order it since I dont yet own the complete works of Terry Pratchett, and would rather own that first.

I didn't much care for Mr. Pratchett. Chances are I won't like Mogworld, apparently it's very Pratchett.

Does anyone know if Yahtzee still sells signed copies and Manabar or if that was like a launch night only thing? Actually, if I got a copy then went there he might sign it.

My copy turned up on friday. I thought it was pretty damn funny in places :)
It had a few bits I didn't quite get as I'm not a mmo gamer, but I still mostly understood it.
I could definately see the influence of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams in the humour ;-D

I didn't get it, but I might. I'll take it when an audio version comes out!
You know who I want to voice it! :D

I'm pretty sure that was a one night only thing, and they sold all the copies they had on hand (according to his blog/twitter).

Mines on the way. I've never been a big Pratchett fan but I wasn't gonna let that stop me.

I read it last week. Pity it wasn't longer. I found it pretty funny, especially since I read it with Yahtzee's voice narrating in my head.

...Brian Denehy?

OP: If they were selling it in stores I'd probably buy it, purchasing things online is quite awkward for myself.

I see you're Australian. No idea where you're from, since I'm pretty sure Pink Floyd didn't specify that in their album. But if you're in Melbourne, then Minotaur stocks it. If not, then I can't help you. Sorry.

Close to Sydney, technically in the Manly Warringah area (Shout out to MAH HOMEBOIZZ!!1!...I'm going to sit in a corner now) so unless a major retailer's going to sell it like Angus and Robertson then I can only hope a local library will or one of Manly's "trendier" shops.

Well I found you this [http://www.kingscomics.com/product_list/pages/product.php?Operation=SetSessionVariable&VariableProductCodeID=APR100046], but it's in Sydney. So like, half an hour's drive away, maybe.

Oh, and I don't know if your Angus and Robertson stocks it, but since it's on their website [http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/book/mogworld/9340806/], I'm sure they could order it in for you. Same goes for Borders [http://www.borders.com.au/book/mogworld/9340806/].

You know Yahtzee posted a link to a review of the book on his twitter feed, and that particular review mentioned that the mere fact that we knew they were in a MMORPG is a spoiler and kind of ruined the suspense. Is that true?
