Apparently the famed creators of Minecraft and one of the writers from Penny Arcade are teaming up to make a virtual card game called Scrolls...the object is to combine the board placement element of board games with other elements of CCGs to make something new and interesting.

As a fan of M:TG and other card games, I'm interested to see where this goes.

What are you guys' thoughts on this?

I will give it a shot I suppose. Not a big fan of card games and such but no reason I couldn't be. Hopefully it turns out as good as it sounds and I might be able to convince my friends to play with me.

Nondescript enragement. Loosely collected assortment of complaints and generalized insults to the mothers of the makers. LOUD ANGRY DECLARATION IN ALL CAPS! Poorly spelled and worded questioning of gender preferences of all involved parties. Repeated complaints mixed with logical inconsistencies. Suggestion for internet boycott.

Not into card games. As long as he keeps working on Minecraft, I have no complaints.

Wait... so is this going to be a physical card game or a video game done in the style of card games?

Pretty sure it's going to be video game done in the style of card games.

OT: I stopped my card game days back at Pokemon when it was awesome, but I might check this out if anybody I know would be willing to hop on board as well.

I'd uh... rather see more work on Minecraft. But I can't fault people for branching out and doing more with their creativity.
