Thanks for the advice guys, going to call tomorrow and see if Microsoft will repair it for free. If it red rings again I'm going to get a PS3. I already have a gaming PC I do most of my gaming on but the 360 was a gift and it is fun to play with people in real life with.

Every one tells me that Xbox live is better but I haven't seen any evidence of that for what I use it for mainly competitive multiplayer..

I have seen one difference. Super Street Fighter 4 has alot better connection on xbox live than PSN. But thats the only difference i've seen.
