Though it isn't actually a game unless you get technical (There is a PnP RPG) I like Mister as a cats name. The 30 pound tom from The Dresden Files.

Id recommend that whatever you name it, name it something that makes sense as a name even without the Gaming reference. Jokes get old. After this one does, you want to still have a serviceable name to use.

Wait, you think they died? Then where are they? IF she's an outside cat, it might not be a problem, but if she's an inside cate, you may want to go on a search. Trust me, dead kittens behind the dishwasher are unpleseant.

Anyway, I think The Resistance would be good. It could come from just about any game, and it sounds deceptively imposing for such a small bundle of fluff.
