so...my games for windows live wont work....

it wont work!
i first thought i just forgot my password so then i proceeded to forgot password, tried this twice and no result i always get this message ''Can't sign in. The Windows Live ID or password you entered is not valid. Enter your information and sign in again. Code: 800488EB'' please tell me what im doing wrong

Oh well, was worth a try. Call the support number maybe? That's if they won't keep you on hold all day, which sadly happens in most cases.

Have you turned off automatic Windows updates? The updates for Windows Live come through that, so you'll need to make sure you have the update. I had the same problem.

i have atleast changed it 20 times, and my email doesent seem to be effected

check your updates as someone else has mentioned if that doesnt do anything make sure you got all your ports open properly.

Should be a little blue rectangle with the windows symbol, and a halo in the taskbar. That should be the 'New Updates Available' thing. Click on it if you see it.
If you don't see it... I have no idea what to do.
Edit: Alternatively, open the Control Panel, then select 'Windows Update'.

just tried it and it dident do anything, i restarted and such but still i get that error message
