So anyway the back story. I'm a deployed Airman in the USAF and I've spent the last 6 months in the middle east and have had my tour extended twice. Once from 4 months to 6 months, and second from 6 months to 6.5 months. Now since I came out here thinking I would be home 2 months before skyrim came out I didn't pre-order it (yeah laugh it up). So I mentioned it to my girlfriend back in the states the other day and she just up and decides to go to the midnight release and get me a copy. There's my awesome "significant other" story lets see how many other people out there have a good story. Now remember this is awesome because my girlfriend is not a gamer, so we are looking for awesome not sweet (yes im talking to you ladies).

Well anyway, my girlfriend just moved out for some months so I don't need to spend time with her (and can play Skyrim) and she even wants to pay for my copy of Skyrim (as a gift).

Hmm....My girl is just all around awesome. Nothing uber special yet, but she's still great.

Like...I found out just today she's been wanting to try out D&D. I had been coming up with a freestyle (no books) D&D campaign to run with another friend, but he's really busy and not THAT interested (so there's VERY little chance of it ever happenning)....So when my GF expressed interest in D&D, I told her the basic concept behind the campaign I was hopelessly making for a friend (High Sci-fi with minor fantasy elements + Some Lovecraftian elements that come into play), and her response was "This is why I love you! You have such good ideas for fun things to do! We need to to this now! ". And now, I have someone to run this awesome campaign on.

Its school, its a Thursday, its your 18th birthday, you have an emergency meeting for a club your in ( that you also don't really like). You walk into the room where you hold your meetings, its quite and everybody is acting weird.

THAT'S when your best friend and your Girlfriend walk in with a cake and 18 birthday candles! wishing you happy birthday and the festivities begin. Your girlfriend smashes icing on your face and after school she licks it ALL off... OH YEAH!!!!
