I guess a lot of the Nintendo games I've shown interest in have had the problems I've listed, and I should've generalized less. Sorry.
That said, I really wish my hand issues were a special case. There's carpal tunnel in my family, and not a single one of us can use the tablet controller or motion controls without problems. Normal controls/controllers, however, aren't a problem. I feel like we can't be the only people in the world who are locked out such games because of these design choices. Anyone with arthritis, carpal tunnel, or similar hand/arm issues is likely going to struggle with these kinds of controls. That's a surprising number of potential customers who get locked out.
However, I wasn't exactly trying to pin fault; I guess I was just venting. I'm sorry if I upset anyone. There are too many things in life I can't do because of physical problems, and video games designers seldom even think about making their games accessible to people with disabilities. It's frustrating when I'm cut off from things I love because of circumstances beyond my control, on top of everything else I can't do. I used to be the biggest Zelda fan you could ever find ... until I couldn't play their games anymore, years ago. It was like losing a best friend, in a lot of ways. And I guess it's made me a bit bitter.
