...is this something that PS3 owners are excited about?
Mass Effect 2 is regarded as one of the top-tier games on the 360, as well as the PC, but PS3 owners may have never experienced it.
In January, though, Mass Effect 2 will be available for PS3, and owners will finally be able to see what all the fuss has been about.
However, the Mass Effect series has been built from the ground up as a trilogy. And while it's fairly obvious now Mass Effect 3 will see a multi-platform release (with perhaps a similar window of exclusivity), it's been made apparent that the original game will not be made available on PS3.
Does this affect at all your desire to pick up ME2? One of the biggest draws to the game is the way it so deeply integrates your choices in the first game into its own story and environment.
Do you think they should renege and release the first game? Or will you just be happy to be playing it at all?
