The DS. It has much more, like Mario&Luigi, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Nostalgia, Final Fantasy remakes, The World Ends With You, Phantasy Star 0 etc.
Yeah. I can't wait for Phantasy Star 0 or Kingdom Hearts. I just wish Sega would actually put a specific release date on the game.

EDIT: As for your second question, that all depends if you want to play GBA games or Guitar Hero on it. If so on either or both of these, get a DS Lite. If not, DSi. The DSi does not have the GBA slot on it, but it does have DSiWare and Internet connectivity (I think. I don't have one myself.).

Yet DS (Or rather, GBA, if it counts) has Mother 1-3[small](This be where the GBA games end.)[/small] Chrono Trigger, and a handful of other Final Fantasy games.

Both are pretty good in the library department, if you're looking for length and quality.

PSP for the GOOD rpgs
The World Ends with You, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, Pokemon (okay, not so much), Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, Disgaea DS, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 (or however it's called), Final Fantasy games and Chrono Trigger.

DSi can't play GBA games. And there is as for now nothing about DSi that makes it better than DS/DSLite, as all games run on them the same. And DS/Lite have GBA slot.

I'd go for the PSP. The JRPGs on the DS just aren't all that interesting to me.

Mario, Pokemon, Sonic, etc. All the same stuff over and over and over.

And don't bother with any of the Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger remakes. They suck compared to the originals. Nothing more than cashing in by Square.

And what PSP has that isn't FF? Also, you have obviously never played The World Ends With You or other GOOD RPGs.

While I agree that Pokemon are all more or less the same, Mario games aren't. I'm talking about RPGs of course.

World Ends with You just feels like a Final Fantasy Clone to me. Just a bunch of kids with spiky hair being unoriginal.

And the FF games on the PSP are great. They're not just remakes. Though I don't really prefer them anyway, since I'm not into FF7 and I don't have money to buy Dissidia.

I'd still go with the PSP. I just can't stand the DS library of JRPGs. I don't want to pay for remakes.

Downloadable games, bigger screen, and the fact that there's going to be DSi exclusive games soon.

I guess you didn't really play the game. I guess that the protagonist is also a kid with spiky hair being unoriginal? When was the last time you had an almost misanthropic protagonist in a jRPG?

Also, FF clone? You know that everything from equipment through movement to combat itself is 100% different? ;d

That doesn't realy matter to me IMO. To me, it's just an FF clone. Nothing more. I'm sorry if you don't agree, but that's my opinion.

It never piqued my interest in the first place really.

There are no similarities at all between Final Fantasy and TWEWY. At all. That's like saying Dawn of War is the same as Halo because people both wear metal armour...

Look , will you stop telling me I'm not allowed my opinion? Yeesh.

I just don't like the look of the game, and that's what matters to me. I can't stand yet another game with a group of "street rebels" fighting against the man (which in this case is the Grim Reaper) with J-POP blaring in the background. Not to mention the story of dying and suddenly not dying and all that just doesn't appeal to me, and it's downright confusing to me.

So please just let it go. You're not convincing me. The gameplay may be different someplaces, but it's still not fun to me.

And I've said fifty times it's just my opinion. I feel like it's similar. If you don't like it, too bad. You can't change my opinion. You can disagree, but you can't change my opinion.

So let's be done with it.

Wasn't trying to sell it to you, it was pretty obvious you were just going to blindly compare it to other games you haven't looked much into/didn't enjoy.

While there are some good JRPG's for the PSP, I'd say that the DS wins in that particular department by a landslide (in both quantity and quality). The only real attempt to "argue" otherwise was so laughably sad that it's become the most slapped around "opinion" in this topic.

To add to the current list of DS RPG's: Suikoden Tierkreis and Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume.

Oh, of course. Now I'm blind because I don't like it. I didn't know that was fair.

Put the flame out man. No need to start anything.

Then again, since my post wasnt bashing the smaller library of the PSP, of course every DS fan has to come out and openly tell me I'm a jackass. I should've known.
