I gave reasons (the characters look alike, maybe I hate the whole damn genre, the story about death and not death does not fit anywhere where I see it in my opinion, and the gameplay, much like Final Fantasy's gameplay does, just honestly doesn't appeal to me. They're both different, but neither are appealing to be honest)
There you go. I gave the reasons why the game just didn't jump out to me. Maybe I didn't do it in time, and that's my fault. And I'll admit saying it was an FF clone was a bad miswording. I'll admit it. But it's still justified to me as a game that I don't find interest in because it feels similar to FF.

There. Is that the justification you so earnestly seeked?
No. Whether you liked the game or not didn't matter to me. The justification I so earnestly seeked was what I posted around five times, which was justification for calling TWEWY an FF clone. But while you're fobbing off that original claim as miss-wording (which you could have done a page ago) it's good enough. Good day.

DS for definate. There's around 10 jrpgs on the ds to every 1 on the psp.
But how many of them are actually good?

McDonnals serves 47 million of burgers a day, but that doesn't mean they are better than Wolfgang Puck's.

More is not always better, more is just more.

Here is a list of PSP Games: Wikipedia List of PSP games [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_Portable_games]

Here is a list of DS Games: List of NDS Games, follow the 3 links for each list in alphabetical order. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_DS_games]

Then decide for yourself which has the better JRPG's, you should be able to find links to each respective games wiki page from that list, should it have a wiki entry.

can i stop this topic :(

thanks to all that helped :)
I nearly fell off my chair with laughter because of the massive war that was going on then you just come in.

OT:I think DS's mainly because of TWEMY and I'm sure there's others but mainly Scribblenauts

I'd say you've picked a winner on both systems, especially given some of the upcoming titles for the PSP.

I own a DS and it is LOADED with good JRPG titles, however most of them feel a little bit cheap, and if you dislike Tactical RPG's you won't have that many choices available.

In terms of traditional/unique RPG's for the DS I can recommend the following...
- The World Ends With You
- Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story
- Suikoden: Tierkries
- Final Fantasy IV DS
- Chrono Trigger DS
- Dragon Quest V

However the PSP has some really impressive looking RPG's on the horizon, so if you can only pick one, I'd think about your own personal taste in JRPG's and wait on it, because if half the awesome JRPG's out in Japan come out for the PSP, it'll be a hell of a system to own and I'll likely be buying one myself.

It's pretty hard to beat Crisis Core and FFT:WotL imo.

Especially since Crisis Core is probably the best Square Enix RPG since FF12.

wow that's a lot of jrpgs
And all of substantial quality. Pretty much played and have all the best the system has to offer. And these are just my suggestions/picks, there are plenty of others that didn't interest me but would probably entertain others.

Each has its fair share of final fantasy games and rpgs games individual to that system, so either one is likely to keep you entertained for some time. You might want to take a look on amazon.com or a gaming website to take a look at the whole list of rpgs available, you might find that there are more on one system you want to play.

True but we are dealing with somethng rather subjective. So on the grounds of saying "oh this is better" or "this is better" they fall short on evidence. However by stating the most it shows what one suits the users interest the most.

DS. It has more unique games and ones that generally play better.
